The only factors that should really come into play when it comes to deciding whether to have kids or not are not particularly related to marriage. Marriage has some political benefits (though you can usually apply to get those benefits without actually being married) as far as some things go, but outside of that it makes little to no difference. I also have no interest in accidentally ending up pregnant and then getting married because that's "the right thing to do, you know, for the kid(s)" either, though plenty of people I know have done similar things.[/quote]
