Reasons to downvote.

[/quote] but see, these downvotes, as caucheka said, hang on one little item, and, at least in most of the examples ive seen, the guide extensively explains WHY to take that item...they just dont bother reading it at least you seem to be a person who reads through just a pointer: maybe dont downvote any guide you don't fully agree with. remember, different people have different playstyles and ideas, doesn't mean just if you don't agree with them you should lower their score. people spend a lot of sweat over these guides without any pay to help the community. to help the PEOPLE. they are doing a kind act. to lower people's knowledge of their help just because you dont agree with ONE out of 10000 things isn't really right, morally, in my opinion. and i rly hate those guys that go: -1 loloolololol or -1 kdjfdklfjhalkshjdslf.lkjfs; that shit is just annoying my idea to change this: NO MORE VOTING SYSTEM. Ok, this might sound a little extreme, but think of all the guides and builds that are amazing but aren't known because of all the troll votes. Personally, I think only vets should be able to give recommendations/votes, you can trust those guys not to troll. but random people just make accounts and troll all day long so much. and it really makes people feel bad. I know the point of voting, to pick out the good guides from the bad, but in essence, it really is quite flawed. I think only the trusted experts should be able to vote, but anyone can comment. If you cannot do that, then I don't see why I should give you the thumbs up. A good guide builder should be able to fully defend their build and explain why it works, along with listing its strengths and weaknesses (most people who list that on their builds get +voted from me). Most people who make guides on this site (that are the ones that are mostly below 60%) only list items and brief explanation about their playing style. That's not a guide, that's you just saying "This is how I play". A /true/ guide goes into detail and lists many many MANY situationals with their guides, along with the pros and cons. You rarely see a lot of that on this website, and that's what makes picking off the good guides from the bad ones so easy. A lot of people who don't go into detail with their guides are usually the same kind of people who post up rant threads saying "THIS VOTING SYSTEM SUCKS CUZ PEOPLE DO DAH TROLL ON MAH GUIDE". [/quote] I totally see what you are saying here. But I think you are missing something from me: The guides I am takling about DO have good reasons for the item.
