But this isn't showing disinterest. It's teasing and flirting.
As for being honest, I would venture to say that anyone who isn't being honest is probably really boring. The truth is funny when it comes to picking up girls. That's just true no matter what.
There is no argument against breaking rapport. It is probably the only way you will ever get a girl to see you as a man. Either that, or your game is extremely grounded and you can literally claw and pull any girl without saying a single word. Which some people can do although it took them several years of constantly picking up to gain the social acumen to that.

The guy is confident but he can't carry even the simplest conversation which ends up with these girls just ****ing staring at him waiting for him to do something cool.

He doesn't touch her much, which ends up with a bit of a fail when he tries taking her hand while they go for coffee.
Cuddowls only said one thing that wasn't trash: physical contact (not too early, not too clingy) can often shows if the other person is or might be interested in you. Just small stuff. Ofc this isn't 100% certain because there's people who don't care about physical contact or are uncomfortable when it's not warranted, and there's civilizations where it's not taken as much of a sign.
The whole "don't answer like this coz now you're friends" **** is complete ****. Common ground is actually the best way to start developing a bond. In fact, me and my bf didn't give two ***** about each other when we met. Then we saw that we had stuff in common - like league - and simply sharing some humor eventually led to something much deeper. Yes some teasing can be fun, but constant teasing just gives the idea that nothing is serious too you or that you're too cool for life.
