I just played a normal game on my lvl 29 acc and got matched againts a 250 lp master top main, rip

After that game I hit lvl 30, go ranked and get matched against full silvers...?

You do realise normal and ranked MMR are entirely separate things, right? Obviously a fresh level 30 account will be facing silvers in ranked, because the MMR of any account that hasn't played ranked before is mid silver-ish.

1200 MMR, with Silver 5 probably starting at 1150 and ending at 1225.
