Is there a reason you run fury over sorcery? I feel like with how ability reliant Darius is, sorcery would be a fantastic choice.

Its basically just for the early game. I almost never take Attack Speed Quints because of the early game nerfs (You really need the AD), and not at least having those 4% makes you super sluggish. 2% ability damage really isnt that much anyway. Even if an ability deals 1000 damage, thats just 20 damage more.

Thx for the guide... I was planning on buying darius and was looking for guides about him.
there is just a deteils that I ain't sure ... about him penetration and synergy with black cleaver.
Off course BC procing on hemorrhage seam quite insane for group fight utility.
but for darius itself it reduce the effectiveness of his passive ArPen.
30% or armor reduction goes before the %ArPen calculus; therefor someone with 100 armor got 75 for Darius... but if that armor is down to 70, because of BC...
then 25% of 70 is 17.5... so ... 52.5 armor down from 100.
but if you take mortal reminder... you get 70% ArPen... therefor the 100 armor become ...30.
unless I'm missunderstanding something.
Still BC benefite your team mates, well mortal reminder keep grievous wound through the hemorrhage aswell so ... 10 seconds of grievous wounds, that can be quite useful aswell.
just wondering which one is better... I guess it depend of comp... if there is already someone with BC in your team .. like MF.. you better go for MR.
Would like to know from your experience your point of view about that.

well just saw another comment below about MR ... anyway.
BTW wouldn't going Titanic Hydra a good things aswell? if built tank.. it synergize pretty well with BC and Death's Dance and MR aswell.. with Spirit visage you hit CDR cap... and STerk's Cage give good shield and AD since Darius is the second top base AD... Sterak's seams made for him. but you only get 1200HP from that built so that ain't that much tanky... :(
well thx again and waiting for you update.

First, thanks for your comment and interest.

Youre missing that Mortal Reminder only ignores BONUS armor. If there is someone with 100 armor, that didnt actually buy any extra armor and just got it from growth, Mortal Reminder wont reduce that armor at all. Mortal Reminder also gives absolutely no defensive stats, and also not any movement speed like Cleaver does.

Mortal Reminder is a great item though, definitely. I updated the guide just now, explaining how much i like it and how useful it is in the notes.

Titanic Hydra has a couple major downsides:
Darius has trouble staying on people in actual big fights anyway. Youre not an autoattacker like Olaf.
The AD you get from it is pretty poor, so we dont benefit from the 2 140% AD scalings on Q and W that much, and the health doesnt make you that tanky since it only offers 400 without any other benefit like resistances or (as an example) the Steraks passive.
Also, its very expensive, so its not a good pickup early on because youll be squishy for a long time, making you benefit even less, and lategame theres generally just better choices.
And Steraks and Titanic together just makes you the most juicy snack every for anyone with lethality or percent-health damage.

thx I missed that detail actually, so thresh armor from innate isn't taken in account by Mortal remainder?

I just started using this build a few days ago. I'm a new Darius player and I had a big break from LoL, the last time I played was 7 months ago and before that I have had breaks too. I started in S3 I think.

I main top champions and I really like Garen, so I decided to try out Darius. I tried using the most popular build over here, The True Noxian Might one with Ravenous Hydra as a 2nd item etc. I won only 1 game out 10 with it and even then I was heavily carried. Using your build I have more success. Usually Darius is the only tank in the team, thus 1 dmg item is enough, if you die, your team dies. Usually I am against AD in top so my build is 1. Black cleaver (1st phage 2nd normal boots) 2. Ninja Tabi 3. Dead Man's Plate 4. Randuins omen/spirit visage 5. Spirit visage/Randuins omen 6. Sterak's Gage.

It seems to work out quite nicely. If the game drags out really long, I get Titanic Hydra as the 5th item and Sterak's gage as the last item. If my enemy is doing massive dmg to me, I get Randuins omen before dead man's plate.

The only thin about Darius is that he usually gets fed as hell, or has a 0/7 score in top if he doesn't. + Every single game when I get FB or win top, their jungler ganks me every minute thus I lose top while my jungler does nothing. Darius is strong and heavily focused on by the enemy team.

First of all, thanks for your comment. Im happy that I was able to help you with the guide.

And youre basically right about most of these things. Your build is totally okay, and obviously you can adjust it to the current situation.
That guy that proposes to build a second AD item should seriously look at how little of a difference it actually makes. It makes Darius a lot more squishy, especially around mid-game, while not providing that much more damage. He fundamentally misunderstands how the new Darius works - you dont need instant killing power, you need time to survive, and health to regenerate with Decimate for the most possible damage output. Once you get Noxian Might it really doesnt matter whether you have 1 or 2 damage items, the damage itself is gonna be extreme. But having that 2nd AD item makes it likely that youll die while trying to deal that damage.

And yes, Darius gets focused a lot and in Solo-Q nobody takes advantage of that. Thats just how it is. Just remember that you did your part, and if you didnt win as a fed Darius there is probably no champion that you wouldve won with. Sometimes you just get pure trash into your team.

Thanks for pointing that out. Im generally opposed to building any other damage item other than Black Cleaver but the synergy sounds crazy.

Im gonna try the double rejuvenation start in a couple of games soon. However, I doubt that it gives you the level of sustain that Corrupting Potion gives you though. I, personally, like to spam my **** like crazy, and even though Darius's mana costs are basically nothing, youll run out of it sooner or later if you want to be as agressive as me in lane. But vs. strong poke it sounds pretty good.

You missed 1 potentially really strong item on darius

Mortal reminder

It applies grievous wounds on physical damage for 5 seconds
And since your passive is a physical damage dot you can potentially apply grievous wounds on all 5 opponents for 10 seconds by landing a Q on them.

With the upcoming patch making grievous wounds effective vs all healing again this can be very brutal if the opponents have multiple healing sources

It is situational ofc but it is definitely worth mentioning imho.

And the double rejuv bead + 4 pot start together with perseverance and runic gives you a disgusting amount of sustain early in saw loke10000 point this out and it is real powerfull vs poke or if you trade alot.
i often use this on sion as he too has high base hp regen
