First of all, welcome back haha. I agree that it's a bit overwhelming to see all of the new item changes and meta shifts whenever you take a long break from league. If you left before the mastery system, I assume it was sometime during season 4 right?
Anyway, there's a LOT of stuff that you probably want to consider looking into, so let's narrow it down a bit. What is it that you feel like to or want to play? Once we have a general idea of what it is you're looking for, we can move onto more specific things that you might want to buy or work with so we don't bury you with information about all the changes that happened since you've been gone :)

Well i was never good at top or jungle so i mainly did supp, mid, adc with supp being my main using beefcakes like leona, naut, alistar and sometimes morgana in s2 i would use taric
Well, first of all some champions got reworked/added. Some examples are Taric and Malzahar. You should also take a look at the new masteries (just go over them and try to understand them) and go through the items. After that, maybe watch some gameplays on youtube to catch-up with the current meta.
Explaining what has changed in 1.5 seasons is nearly impossible to do. You should probably just start playing again and learn that way. :)

I agree with Penita, watching some gameplay or streams on twitch will probably be a good place to start. You said you were a support main right? Sweeeeet same ;D. If you're interested in picking up
Taric again, he just got an outrageous rework that makes him pretty disgustingly strong right now. Everything you need to know about him regarding his new abilities, items, and new masteries can be found on the guide I just finished writing on him! Just click my signature if you're interested.
Regarding other roles, I would advise staying away from mid for now because they just finished reworking a bunch of mid lane mages. Honestly playing a more passive support like
Janna or
Soraka might be a good way to ease back into playing.

Watching streams is always good, but be sure to actually watch those streamers that give useful commentary (like LCS streams). Either way, I'd recommend to just play the game and figure out while playing, it's generally much more useful than anything you take in 'passively'. Aside from that, read through guides and look at what they seem to recommend and work from there.
Honestly I think it is pretty poor advice because the best way to get to learn about all the changes is to actually be thrown in the deep. If you're just playing a reactive (note: I'm not using passive here) support you may not really get to know the champions that well as you're just focussing on botlane and your AD Carry. You just have to play with the mindset that it is okay to **** up, because in the end you'll adapt much faster.

I just got back from about a year and a half break from the game (stopped playing last February due to responsibilities) and there is definitely a lot of champions that have been changed/reworked and a lot of champions that have come out since. The biggest difference I noticed is that it seems Riot took to more complex champion designs as compared to the relatively simple champions that were being released previously. It really has helped me to just go on the LoL Wiki and read about the reworked champions and the new ones, specifically focusing on their CC abilities, as I play ADC and Mid and need to watch for those.
