Really nice guide, I really liked the amount of effort you put into the build paths. They all seem to give really good damage, health and resistances. Behemoth Sion is definitely my favourite Sion! Thanks for the Sion guide!

I think this is a really great guide- you have explained everything in great detail. The only thing I do not 100% agree with is your runes... if you have Warmog's armor and you have the health to activate Warmog's heart than Health regain quints are a little useless in my opinion. I would put either armor quints or % health quints. For marks I feel like armor marks are useless because they don't give a whole lot of armor- here I would get either greater mark of precision for that hybrid damage pen, or greater mark of physical damage. I really like your seals, but if we are running % health quints, then I would put scaling armor for those. Besides the runes, a really great guide!

Cheat Sheet

+ Well laid out; very logical and easy to understand.

- Consider including notes for the Anti AD/AP sections to give a tiny summary of when to buy each item (ie. "DMP is generally best; Thornmail vs. autoattackers, Randuin's vs. crits" etc etc.)

- On your next guide update, change the boots in your example full build to plain old Boots of Swiftness. RIP boot enchantments :(

Patch Updates

+ Looks nice! Very good job featuring the most recent update, then tucking the previous ones into spoilers.

- However, it's now 3 patches out of date.

Introduction

- Since the theme of this guide is red text, BIG LETTERS IN IMPACT FONT, and the like, I would change the color of Sion's name from blue to red.

Pros and Cons

+ Not much to say here either. Same as above.

Masteries

+ Thanks for putting in the mastery page pictures. These are a welcome addition that many guides don't have.

+ Props for correctly coding Savagery and Perseverance . I've lost count of the number of times I've seen Savagery and Perseverance :P

Runes

- Dark orange and green don't go well together. I like the orange, but try different colors instead of green (blue works quite well for example).

Summoner Spells

- Line up the colored spell names with their icons to make them look more uniform (should be just as simple as including them in the center tags for the icons).

- No need to include the rest of the summoners here. If you feel like it's necesssary, you can say "Just ignore the rest" or something similar, but it's usually best to have your two recommended summoners and any strong, viable alternatives.

Abilities

+ Very nice formatting here.

-...but the dark green clashes again. Change the color of your Tips and Tricks titles to something else that matches red (maybe dark orange again, or a shade of blue, or maybe even a bright green like #00ff00).

- While not mandatory, GIFs of each ability are a very nice addition that would set your guide apart from most of its peers.

+ I like the "Bowling with Sion!" tip :)

Items

+ Good job explaining the starting items in depth.

- What about Black Cleaver, Sterak's Gage, and Iceborn Gauntlet?
Those are all fantastic items for Sion, and should at very least be mentioned in the Other Items section.

Gameplay

- Nice job dividing it up into segments, but the segment titles are very small and leave a LOT of unused blank space on the left column. Reformat this section to either remove those spaces (like putting segment titles at the top) or fill them with something, which leads to my next point....

-...VISUALS. This section, more than any other section of any guide ever, NEEEEEEEDS visuals of some kind. Pictures, GIFs, videos, charts, diagrams, anything really (I see the warding map, but even that is very small and only shows good spots during lane phase, and ignores pink ward locations). It's so incredibly hard to fully communicate something so broad and deep as gameplay in all its aspects with just paragraphs full of words.

Need help creating visuals? I spent a while learning how to do it for my own guide, so I'd love to share what I've learned so far and the programs/methods I use. Send me a pm if you want more info on that.

- Be sure to include details on pink wards. Where to ward, when to ward, etc.

Matchups

+ I LOVE LOVE LOVE the formatting/coding in this section! VERY well done!

Summary

+ A bit redundant, but it looks nice.

FAQ

+ Questions will come in time. Have patience :)

- Come to think of it, this would be a nice spot to include the discussion of Sterak's Gage below if you don't cover it in your items section.

Changelog and Credits

+ Not much to say here. Looks nice.

Conclusion:

I like this guide. It has a great theme that matches the feel of the champion, and a couple sections (matchups, pros/cons) are either truly amazing or polished enough to not need anything else at all. Most of everything else is fairly polished and well thought out, with LOTS of coding/formatting.

However, you really need to expand the gameplay section more. What you already have here is nice and covers the basics, but if you want to truly shine, expand it a bit more and add pics/videos/GIFs to show us, not just tell us, what you're explaining. You could also benefit from adding the items I listed earlier into your items section, since afaik they're pretty popular among most Sion players and are distinctly NOT full tank items, so they would fit in perfectly with your build.

I'll rate this guide as a 4 out of 5 (more like 3.8ish, but I round up). Take my upvote! While it's missing some vital stuff and could use a bit more artwork, there's already enough there for this guide to be a contender for the top list for Sion guides. Keep improving, keep it updated, and stay optimistic - even though it doesn't have many views now, it deserves much more, and more will come.

Every so often i browse through the Sion guides

Looking at the builds through my eyes as a ~300k Sion main

Overal it seems like a fun build, but in my experience its not the most effective for what you want to accomplish.

Masteries
Sion has alot of choices when it comes to masteries, he can go both cunning or resolve with the option to spend the remainder 12 points in any of the 3 trees.

Now here is the thing, resolve masteries are good for any tank, but overal not super strong, there are a couple of them which are very good for Sion, which are runic armor to boost his shield and regen and perseverence which also boosts regen, sion has very good hp regen, and then there are tenacity and grasp, strengt can also be decent.
However these are not neccesarily needed.

I often opt for the cunning tree where i want assassin for damage meditation for manaregen, precision to boost my damage further and stormraiders surge. Ill come back on this in a bit.
Then i opt into ferocity where i pretty much pick everything which gives me a %boost in damage, often it will be sorcery, double edged sword, vampirism and opressor because you have so much cc so its moreliable.

These mastery option will boost you damage output by up to 10% which is really good considering Sion has very good base damage. Then you also get hybrid pen from masteries and runes making you damage stick all the way to lategame.

Meditation is my manaregen as i always build max cdr because most of sions power is in his abilities getting them to very low cooldowns is very beneficial as you get to spam shield to make you more tanky aswell as output more cc and damage.

Now the stormraiders mastry might seem odd, which it is, but it has 2 uses. 1. when trading with your lane opponent you can often proc it by landing e-q-w while shield holds you take no amage then you land the combo and blast of while he still recovers from stun you took no damage he took at least 30%

The second use is for your passive hit someone 2-3 times and get a massive speedboost while being near immune to slows. This is especially deadly earlygame i often got a double kill with it on my lane opponent and his jungler after i got ganked.

Build
As for the build there are some options which give both damage and tankyness

Sunfire cape whill boost your dps and pushing power aswell as give armor and health

Iceborn gauntlet thats half the cdr you need right there and the mana to back it up and it makes you more tanky with armor, and the spellblade is really good to boost your damage since you will be smapping everything you also get to hit like a truck with auto's after aswell as apolyieng slows to make it easier to hit the following skillshot

Spiritvisage gives the needed magicresist and more health aswell as more cdr and it boosts you healing giving more sustain

You can also grab sorcery boots as an alternative to ninja/mercury it will increase your W and E damage aswell as your sunfire damage

Thornmail will give return damage on being hit

Warmogs is always a good option for strong sustain especially combined with visage

With a build like this you can output a ton of sustained damage and even decent burst combo whilst simultanously being really tanky. And as a bonus you have incredible sustain.
With good farm and a build like this you can get ~300 armor ~140 magic resist ~4500 - ~5500 health
You can spam shield non stop to further boost your tankyness and your damage is really high

Runes

Here is where you pickup whatever you need to round out your build, in this case you would get hybrid pen reds and quints
10% scaling cdr blues and the other 3 runes are just fill, i usually get scaling mr
Then pick whatever you want from yellows, for me its mostly scaling health.

This build pretty much accomplishes what you want, you want a behemoth well this build really does turn you in to one, Relies heavily on spamming your abilities for maximum effect.

To make it through earlygame, because you do need experience as a Sion player as you wont have much extyra early game defense howerv your early game damage is pretty damn high, so as long as you can land your skillshots block some with W and get out with stromraiders you should be fine
And if you do get caught eary well you have stormraiders on your passive so it will 90% of the time be even trade or you coming out ahead, just got to know what to do.

I highly recommend you give this a try and if you like it you can add it as an alternative behemoth build in your guide

DAAAAAYUMN! that was a wall of text well goodluck on your Sion endeavors

This is fair enough, however I feel for late game the damage bonus from your Grasp is extremely helpful, however any of the Resolve tree is useful. You could also go thunderlords, however I feel that the damage it outputs isn't very good since the build more focuses on health stacking, rather than damage.

Good guide! I enjoyed the way your guide was set up. I have one question; would you consider getting Sterak's Gage? Gives a good chunk of health and some good damage, along with that shield.

Thanks, I put quite a bit of time into the layout, and am persoanlly quite proud of it! Nice to see people like it. In response to your question, absolutely. Sterak's is an item that in all honesty works well in the build, however I don't build it since I prefer to get some more resistances, but the item is really good, especially if you are up against burst champions (or champions with good Max Health damage). I would recommend using the random spot, and I may consider putting in the build guide at some point.
