Started streaming a little while ago, usually it instantly comes online but it's not done so yet. When I click onto it and go to a different page it says I'm online, just not at the top of any of my guides

Just double-checking, but you have your stream set to play League of Legends, right? I believe not too long ago we added something that filters out non-league streams for these kinds of things.

I'll mention that there's problems again, sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks to Jovy for the sig!

Ah no, I was playing Path of Exile. Didn't know you added a filter for that, never mind then.

Similar to the original report I've noticed an issue with the embeds taking a long time to generate stream viewers during the very start of streams. I couldn't tell what was wrong at first since the embeds seemed to be working properly when I went on my guide pages, but I was staying at ~50 viewers for like an hour before my views suddenly started growing at their normal pace.

Today I noticed this:

My Jinx guide while I was logged in

My JInx guide while I was logged out

For users that are logged in the embeds turn on almost immediately, but there's a huge delay for logged out users, which are the vast majority. I assume this is some cache related issue since I think I recall some other similar case a while ago of something updating slower for logged out users.

Edit: Also while we're at it... I get this error every time I try posting something, starting today/yesterday (if yesterday, might have started the same time the embeds delay started).

Refreshing the page makes me double/triple/quadruple post (depending on how many times I refresh) as I'm repeatedly taken to the error page, while clicking on the address and typing enter takes me to the reply page with an empty reply box, where I can see what I tried to post before the error under "recent comments".

In other words, when I try to comment, the comment goes through, but I'm taken to that error page.

Thanks Vapora, we'll take a look at both those issues.

@ Vapora Dark I've looked in to it and I think I found the problem. There was a bug with the stream script that would sometimes fail to clear the page cache, which is only ever shown to guests. I've fixed the bug, but it's difficult to test so, keep an eye out next time you go online and check, it SHOULD appear on your guide within a couple minutes even when logged out.

Regarding the comment issue, I don't see any errors in the logs and I'm unable to replicate it. I'm going to clear up some things that are spamming the logs making it harder to spot infrequent errors and then watch from there.

Pretty sure the stream bug is fixed, past 2 streams instantly grew in viewers as usual. Thanks!

Awesome, glad to hear it! Dealing with multiple layers of cache is tricky, sometimes it takes a few attempts to get it right. Let us know if anything else comes up with it.
