This is. indeed, the nature of the current meta. However, you will find that when you climb the ranks, people make less mistakes and snowballing becomes a lot more difficult. It becomes an actual challenge to find mistakes in other people's play, plus your teammates will get nicer and more cooperative the higher your rank. Naturally, this would require you to push through this part you're in now. I myself understand your troubles and share them. I find it difficult to cling onto the words I just wrote myself and find myself feeling down after a game (no matter whether I win or lose) rather often.

Personally, I still find the game highly enjoyable if you have a Duo partner to climb with. You establish a clear plan and don't need to rely on anyone but yourselves (usually). Otherwise, it's a hit and miss with the people you get matched with/against. I have now lost more than 20 games (more or less in a row) while in Gold V and my MMR has tanked so much that LoL is giving me the "You have been shielded from demotion (...)" talk. That was really not fun and it's been a very frustrating month because I really want to get Platinum V this Season.

The meta picks are really strong in this season you can see total difference between B and S tier champ unlike previous seasons that it's just slight advantage.
And since it's assassin meta right now the game focus even more about snowballing because snowballing can win game.
Just how many games you see something like Talon Kayn (probably not as much because he's usually banned) Kha'Zix.
And all of them have Duskblade as 1st/2nd item every ****ing single game.
