Have you tried to bring smite to the mid lane? Think about it, it can spead flux if a minion is killed with it and catching people offguard by performing a quick combo now that you spread it and have ready your e right away, it can also help you secure objectives along with your jungler for almost 2000 damage, help you secure blue buff if needed and make you able to do plays like blast cone E+Q+SMITE steal baron then zhonya+ulti. In your guide also you refer as a tanky last item and with smite hulk's and red smite seems like a good combination for dueling 1vs1 en late game as fifht or sixth item boosting all your itwms that already gives you life.

I have, but smite is not as valuable as Teleport or Ghost. Jungler items are not efficient on Ryze, even Ryze mains who play Ryze jungle d

Hey dude
Im a ryze main too( though Im a noob - lv23)
I have heard and successfully tried FH + Liandry
I heard that FH does count on Liandry's passive(yeah the game was awesome but Idont know if it really worked)
Can you investigate it and, if you care and like the build, test it and make critique for me??
Voted!!!

FH does work with Liandry, I know this because I play Singed. Although I did write about it in the guide, I personally never build Frozen Heart. Abyssal Mask + Zhonyas + full AP is as tanky as I get. I don't like that build much but if it works for you, do it.

I hate to be your first comment when I can't be totally glowing, so sorry.

I do think that you cover most of the key points. I just have two comments really.

First: all of your combos should start with a Q. There's really no penalty for doing so (except at the VERY beginning where you're low on mana). It resets immediately, so just do the extra damage.

Second: I didn't see any comment about how obscenely dangerous your ult is to use. I always think that's worth warning people about, as I've aced my team before with a poor ult (not joking).

The guide is still incomplete tho, and I'm lazy xd but you shouldn't always start combos with your Q because it's usually really obvious when Ryze wants to combo someone (he has to walk up to AA range) and if you start Q you give people the time to walk back out of the range of your W and E while you're casting your Q, so now all you have achieved is landing a single Q onto your opponent and they probably will retaliate with their own rotation of spells, which will hurt more than an unempowered Q. You want to start Q when your target is either already CC-ed, is not going to run away or is moving towards you. About his ultimate, it's just not that hard to just, idk, don't teleport your team to where you have no vision of. You know the enemy team is doing Baron (but has no vision of Baron area), you just don't Realm Warp your team into river, instead you Realm Warp them into the blue pit or behind the Baron pit. I have honestly never teleported my team into an Ace (I once teleported my team into a Quadrakill but I managed to clean up the rest, so it was worth). Maybe I'll include it in the guide, I just think it's kinda common sense.

Entirely possible. I've always been lacking common sense.
