I've been playing for two seasons with camera lock enabled.
I'm currently playing on a 13in screen, which is the smallest laptop screen size, and I have a gaming mouse that can be set at 800, 1200 , 1800 and 2400 DPI.
Anyone knows what the best settings are to ease my experience without camera lock? Cause on a 13i screen I find myself having to move my mouse to the edge of the screen very often so I supposed I needed high DPI, but that also brings accidental map scrolls that shut down the whole experience for me.

Any advice? Optimal settings?

Have a nice day

I first got diamond on a 15.6 inch laptop with a $20 wireless mouse (one of those small Logitech ones) and around 3500 DPI. Virtually any setup works as long as you tweak it and practice until you're comfortable with it. Personally I'm more comfortable with high DPI because I don't like moving my mouse several inches at a time, though I've lowered it to 2600 now.

So my advice would be to play around with your DPI until you find something that feels pretty okay, then play with it enough to get comfortable. That's all there is to it.

It's great that you're learning to play with your camera unlocked by the way. It can be a rough transition for some players but it's definitely worth it.

Just play with your camera always locked, that's what I do, although really I don't know what DPI means and play on a 13" screen too, it just feels like doesn't want to work properly with it off and I find it really uncomfortable (especially for more mobile characters that require you to have your mouse on the target like Kled and Fizz). I just never seem to find it necessary since I'm used to using my minimap for my awareness needs and that my immediate surroundings are always important, I really can't imagine playing without the camera locked though I've heard that's bad.
Noob Zilean, Rammus and Kled trio main that loves to cause mischeif, mostly plays mid, top or support (practising Jungle). Also play Veigar, Vel'Koz, Thresh, Amumu, Fizz and Tahm Kench. I also dabble in random heroes that hit the free rotation that pique my interest.

Going mid as a support with ignite is more fun and effective than I ever imagined!

DPI stands for Dots Per Inch. It's a measurement of how quickly your cursor moves across the screen. Higher numbers means you have to move your mouse very little for your cursor to move a lot. Lower numbers offer more precision (good for first-person-shooters) but you have to move your mouse a lot.

Ohhh I see, that makes sense, maybe I'm just too used to my current sensitivity though maybe I could try turning it up, maybe that will help a little, thanks!
