This is a really good build for xerath but i was wondering why did you pick mana flow band instead of the ultimate hat ? since xerath's passive already give mana back.Also , what items should i change if i'm going against an assassin ? cause i played a couple of games against assassins and it was hard AF .

if you have any suggestions that would be great !

His spells cost enough mana to compensate for his passive giving him free mana, he still gains a lot from being able to get even more mana, which is why he builds , so is still good on him. He also isn't very reliant on his ult.

If you're having trouble surviving you can build either vs AP or vs AD.

With his passive, couldn't you use The Ultimate Hat instead of Manaflow Band? Also, if he's artillery, Absolute Focus should give him the bonus near constantly, because he'll be out of range of most champs (except other artillery mages obv). What do you guys think?
