this is probably a really dumb question but this guide It's meant for the rework right?

Not as of right now mate, that one is in progress.
I am getting is as many PBE games as I can so look to find the updated guide here soon! :)

Yi matchup is innaccurate, oddly enough Q-ing Yi during ult only says "can't be slowed" and doesn't seem to do anything to him.

KajiKumihoAkukei (140) | March 21, 2020 11:16am
Is that so? Then they must have changed it since I last played against a master Yi with Fiddlesticks. I'll look in to it! Thanks for bringing that up.
Although I am looking in to the rework now a lot more at the moment to be honest! ^^

Hey man, read your guide. I have Fiddlesticks and play him as a support, his CC and peel are really effective when placed in the bottom lane. Where do you see him achieving the most, Jungle or Support? I heard that his duelling is awful in the early stages, so would you recommend I start climbing with jungle or stick to support?

KajiKumihoAkukei (140) | May 18, 2019 12:18am
Hi @ ShockStrikes,

Thanks for reading my guide.

First of all that is an interesting question you ask, because in my opinion it depends most on what your preferences are. I can definitely see him performing well in both the jungle role as in the support role.
If you really like playing support, and want to focus on providing crowd control and peel you should stay as a support.
If you prefer to have a little more impact across the map instead of just in the bottom lane (and perhaps mid if you can get a roam in) you can 100% play Fiddlesticks very effectively in the jungle.
As to his dueling: it is true that he isn't the best at going 1 VS 1 in the jungle, but that also depends on how well you know your champion and the enemy champion. Your power to fight depends mainly on your abilities and being able to Bountiful Harvest the enemy champion to stall for time. So if you know that you are playing against an enemy champion that has crowd control to interrupt your Bountiful Harvest all you have to do is bait out his crowd control before starting to Bountiful Harvest.

So it comes down to this: if you want to start climbing it is best to have as much impact as possible and that is going to be in the jungle. You will be able to influence all lanes and secure as much objectives as possible for your team. However, if you are not comfortable playing jungle, or you have a hard time reading the map I would advise to stick to support and just work to get your AD carry as far ahead as possible every game. This can get you a win just as easy.

Hope this answer is of any use to you! ^^

Greetings,

Kaji

Hi @ ollie360,

Taste of Blood and Ravenous Hunter can absolutely be an option if you want the increased sustain.
This, combined with maxing Bountiful Harvest will increase your sustain and survivability for sure, but it will take away some of your damage.
Personally I wouldn't go this route because of the fact that Reap and Terrify offer much more value, but that is more because of my personal preferences. Your idea is certainly valid.

Greetings,

Kaji.

Yo, thank you for this killer guide. I've always wanted to start playing fiddles jungle and this guide helped me succeed my dream of that. With the comprehensive jungle routes, to the break-down of every item, rune, and skill in this build, you truly cover it all. I would like to thank you for my 3 s ranks in a row and more to come!

Let's hope you can keep getting those S ranks in a lot of games! I'll be rooting for you.

Greetings,

Hello Kaji.I read your guide and I think that it's very good, didn't tought of buying Hextech GLP 800 in any game, this item is very useful when ganking or when chasing someone and I like how you wrote almost every jungle matchup and what to do.I have a question : Do you think that Dark Harvest is good on fiddle ? I am waiting for your reply btw my English is bad sorry for that :)

Hi @ xMalcho,

First of all thank you so much for the comment!
I am very glad you liked my guide and that you learned something by reading it.
Now about your question:
Dark Harvest isn't a very good choice on Fiddlesticks in my opinion because it takes a way too much of your early game power compared to Arcane Comet and it doesn't offer the utility of let's say Glacial Augment.
Before it got nerfed it was an option of course, because it was broken on every champion back then.
But as of right now I am afraid it wouldn't feel very good.
My advise: wait for another Dark Harvest buff before taking it on our favorite scarecrow!

Greetings,

~ Kaji! ~

Okay just wanted your opinion on this rune.I am playing with Comet or electrocute.I think Electrocute is a good option too becase of the one shot potential on carries and it is good in early ganks because it provides you the best damage in early game I think.

So, the reason why you start E instead o W is because you prefer starting murk wolves instead of blue? I haven't tried that with Fiddlesticks but seeing it here, I'll give it a go for meself. If it means he doesn't need pull either, it should benefit the team too. I don't generally try it though because early on, Fiddlesticks' mana costs are a bit crazy.
1
KajiKumihoAkukei (140) | August 5, 2018 2:24am
That's true, but you don't really struggle with that if you do the murk wolves first.
You do them, into blue and gromp at the same time. This makes it so you have just enough mana for the entire blue side.
Another plus to doing the e start is that you have blue buff after 3 camps are cleared. So you have more benefit of the blue buff to try and make a gank or even an invade happen. ^^

But doesn't the jungle experience changes make this route sub-optimal?
You no longer get level 3 after these 3 camps, so is it really still a preferable start?

Hi, nice guide! I've seen people play Fiddlesticks support with the Aftershock keystone on stream. I guess I kinda get why, for tankiness upon fear or whatever, but I was also wondering what you thought about that as a primary rune option for support Fiddlesticks? Thanks.
1
KajiKumihoAkukei (140) | June 17, 2018 2:45am
Well, I play him with Summon Aery as a support (see my Fiddlesticks support guide for more information on that).
But as far as going into Resolve as a primary path goes, it certainly is viable.
As Fiddlesticks you tend to be very squishy, and as a support it takes so long to get to strong AP items. So if you take Resolve as your primary path you can increase your durability pretty well.
If you want to go Resolve, I'd recommend these runes:

ClashofLeagues (4) | June 19, 2018 3:13am
So would you say that Resolve could also be an option for jungle Fiddlesticks?
Or not so much?

I checked out your Fiddlesticks support guide and I liked the build.
Had a lot of fun and success with it, but I was wondering if you could blend in a chapter on the tankier runes you mentioned here.
I'd like some more information about that before I try them out! ^^

I saw you play Fiddlesticks support in your stream a couple of days ago.
Could you maybe include a guide for that?
Because I've been seeing a lot of Fiddlesticks support recently and I wanted to try it as well. ^^
1
KajiKumihoAkukei (140) | June 14, 2018 1:40am
I could definitely do that, but I feel like I should make a separate guide for Fiddlesticks support then.
Because I feel like it might get confusing if there's a jungle and a support section in one guide.

Did you change the lay-out of the guide?
It looks different from last time I consulted it.
If you did, good job man!
Now the content and the lay-out are both super good!

Sideshow Bob (1) | April 23, 2018 12:35am
I agree, the guide is really starting to come together as a whole!
Keep up the improvements man, very nice work. :)

Yeah, I see it to!
Nice work indeed, it looks a lot easier to read now to. :)

Thanks for the commendation! ^^
1
KajiKumihoAkukei (140) | April 13, 2018 11:12am
Thanks!
I really appreciate the votes of confidence! :D
I took my time with it though, because I wanted it to be exactly the way I wanted it to be.

Before it was indeed a little bit chaotic, making it somewhat harder to read.
Most of that should be solved now though. ^^

If there are any suggestions, feel free to tell me because I am still up for improvements!

KajiKumihoAkukei (140) | April 13, 2018 10:39am
As a matter of fact I did! :)
I was happy with the content, but not so much with the way it looked.
So I went and checked out a lot of guides to learn some more about the coding for writing guides! ^^
There are some really useful guides out there.

I'm glad you noticed it and that you like it.
Thanks for the comment man!
