Its been a crazy weekend, but Matt worked tirelessly to get things resolved. We learned a lot and have a strategy to move forward with that will reduce down time to almost nothing when hardware fails in the future.
So glad to be back, we can breath again!

This weekend was a gauntlet. We have been up and down all weekend, battling since Friday afternoon-ish. We are actually now at a different host in a temporary home until we can sort things out with our regular host. Those of you that are wondering; no data is missing, there was no corruption like the last time. We really seem to have the worst luck this month but hopefully it's clear skies ahead :)
We are on a newer version of the site now (forced some big back-end changes through in order to get the site back up) so let me know if you spot any bugs. The new caching system is live now too, I didn't have time to test it as much as I wanted but it seems to be working fine.
In a few days we will have to make one more server move back to our regular host, onto a new server that is much more powerful than the last one. We also now have a plan in place that should allow us to get back up and running in the event of another failure, MUCH faster. We are aiming to have things arranged such that, even if there is a total server meltdown, we can be back up in an hour or less.
Anyways, glad to have you all back!!
