So were/how do I get into the league lore?
I have been playing this game only since last pre-season just ended so am really new to this kind of stuff and tbh I never really been pointed toward the lore aspect of league (or I missed Riot trying to get me interested in it) before they released this.
(I did know that there was lore because of streamer showdown having an segment on it but thats really it and wasnt interesting enough to pull me towards it)
I was hoping someone can point me toward something good to get me into the background stuff :) It may be a little late for me to get invested (some streamers have been consistently mentioning that league is dying) but with the amount of free time I have and already put into league anyway I figure why not?

They've actually made it very convenient with their new universe portal thing. I'd start with the regions tab and pick out a favourite faction or one you're interested in reading about. If you pick the Void, for example, you'll see the short description, a short story, the art gallery and all the champions of the faction in one place. If you like any of the champions in particular you can just click "Read Full Biography" and there ya have it.
Also you're totally not late since they are still sorting out the kinks themselves. The lores have been getting changed and expanded on for the past few months.

Is that all there is to it though, no video's comic's ect I can look into?
Cause to be honest when I personally think of lore and background I think of more then just what I came across.
Short tldr; I did what you mentioned natrually with the first (and for now only) champion I got m7 with (Sion) and what I found was relatively disapointing.
It had the Bio and a short story with some consept art pictures, and while all of it was pretty cool (especially the pictures, they have a pretty good art department going at Riot imo) but not really what I expected.
My only experience with Riot lore was the video they released about Annie, which was actualy amazing.
It was super creepy, dark and really cool and actually kinda changed how I looked at Annie and Tibbers.
It sounds a bit stupid cause I dont daily stand still by the background stuff behind annie but its cool that every time I play against her I am reminded of that creepy video and the fact that she accidently killed her dad. Shes just midunderstood!
So when you go to Sion's page and compare it with that vid the difrences are underwhelming and a little discurraging to look further.

The bulk of the lore right now is in writing which is the default form of media when you talk about stories. There are some videos out there like the Annie one (you can just find them all on the league youtube channel, you got legends of bilgewater for example and the workshop vids for example) but not every champion has a video.
There are also several comics, the new Ryze one, Darius, Poppy but again not every champ has one.
