I'm really thankful for your guides but watching your twitch-stream while opening a guide where you're smurfing makes me angry as hell.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I don't mean to sound "holier than thou", but I agree with Dravenex 100%. The only reason I created a new account for League is because I forgot the password to my old account and never got any e-mails I could've used to reset the password (my e-mail was never changed, so Idk why I never got the password reset e-mail).
There's 2 reasons I exclusively smurf on stream. The first is that when I stream I'm focused on entertaining and answering questions so I play a lot worse than I do when I'm off-stream, meaning playing on my Diamond 2 main accounts isn't an option because I don't actually play at a D2 level on stream.
The second reason, and this is why I don't just stick to one smurf and play ranked at D5-D3, is that my mood greatly affects the quality of my stream. If I'm having fun I'll be loud, talkative, laughing at my own misplays as well as everyone else's, while if I'm not having fun I'll be quiet, moody and just complaining all the time.
It's a lot easier to have fun when I'm playing on a smurf because while I still lose a great deal of games, I'm at least still in a position to win and carry those games, even if I end up losing. I don't really care if I win or lose, I just want the game to be fun. Smurfing and going 16/4 and losing is still really fun for me, whereas playing at high Elo and going on a losing streak where I can't seem to do anything because of getting camped/spam invaded by players who play at the same level as me is just depressing.
And I don't mind dealing with that depression when I'm playing off-stream with the objective of climbing, I've dealt with it for the past 6 years and I still enjoy grinding ranked even with how bad it can make you feel sometimes. But if I'm playing on stream where I need to be at the top of my game mentally, it's just honestly not a great idea for me to play at an Elo where it's going to be a 50/50 whether I have good games or bad games that day.
So playing exclusively on silver-D5 smurfs on stream is simply the best option for me.
I know smurfing can be frustrating for some people, but from my perspective it's just a normal part of playing League. Everyone I know at my Elo has smurfs, and everyone I don't know at my Elo I also assume have smurfs for the most part.
You say it ruins the whole ranking system, but the frequency of getting a smurf in Silver is tiny, and the one game that you do lose because of a smurf, which was a 50/50 that you'd lose anyway, won't affect your climb in the long-term, so smurfing doesn't really have any effect on the ranking system.
In fact, funnily enough it has a bigger impact in Diamond where I play, where the player pool is a lot smaller so if there's a Challenger player smurfing in Diamond you're a lot more likely to run into them. And don't even get me started on the amount of LCS players I've had to play against in Diamond. Hell I've even had to play against an actual soon-to-be World Championship winner in solo queue before. But that's just part of playing the game.
Hopefully this has helped you understand why I choose to smurf on stream. At the very least I hope you can keep enjoying my guides even if you can't enjoy my stream.
