yo bro I see you put a lot of effort in this guide and I think that it's great that you try to help the community. however, after looking through the guide, I never wanted to gouge my eyes out more. for a barebone BASIC understanding for lee, you did a good job. however, just the itema and especially the matchups are just so wrong jesus. source : http://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=gunsae

Hey GunsaeXD!

Thanks for your comments regarding the item sets I recommend along with the match ups. You too are trying to help the community and that is great!

Now, I am unsure of what to do with your source besides compare your recent match history to my guide.

When I went to your source, I saw that you were using the very same items I suggest in my guide! Maw of Malmortius, Ninja Tabi, Dead Man's Plate, Warrior Jungle Item are all items that I have in my guide. I'm confused as to what I did wrong in that aspect!

In regards to the matchups, I don't quite understand why it urged you to rip your eyes out? Perhaps you could give some more insight as to what I did wrong?

All in all, thanks again for the "constructive" feedback!

well let's see. Blue smite and red smite are preference so blue smite is fine. there is literally no time in any game where someone should get lucidity boots over mobis tabis or mercs. in your gap fillers, solari and adaptive helm aren't recommended when they both can be very good in certain situations. imo lethality lee sin is useless as **** unless you all in on getting the letahlity items and have enough gold to afford all of it before the enemy team scales, so i dont think they should be recommended. i dont see a thesible situation where ldr or deaths dance will be bought instead of tank. i do agree that mortal reminder can / should be bought but only in very very niche situations. the hextech gunblade im going to assume is a typo. Also, i disagree with the masteries a lot. lee is all about efficiency and ganking, so i dont know why nimbus cloak is being ran; it just seems like a useless mastery. i can see the reasoning behind ingenous hunter; however, i dont think the ward cooldown is as important as the amount of movement speed from relentless hunter as long as you don't spam wards and become conservative with them. the matchups are really ****ed up as well. graves and kindred are by far lee sin's hardest matchups. nidalee as well can be a super hard matchup if played by someone who knows how to play nidalee. WW, rammus, and wukong aren't that oppressive for lee sin compared to the above; they're just annoying. i think nocturne deserves to be a lot higher due to him having a lot stronger lvl 2 than lee sin and being able to spell shield lee sin's Q and forcing lee to ward hop towards nocturne to engage.

Hey, I recently started trying to learn to jungle (like 2 or 3 weeks ago) and can clear most if not all of my camps before my first recall, but I keep dying to second buff or gromp when I try to as lee sin. I tried looking up kiting, but apparently it doesn't save you that much hp. How do I not die to camps as lee sin?

Hey AmnesianBlizzard! That's an interesting problem you have here.

I tend to find the one monster camps (Red/Blue Buff and Gromp) the easiest to clear. I say this because lee sins solo/execute damage is extremely good! This damage can be converted into hp if you have jungle item.

Kiting is very important while jungling. You are kinda correct in how it doesn't save you a whole lot of hp. However, consider it this way. Each camp that you kite and save a little hp on adds up. There are a total of six camps on your side of the jungle and you may clear more camps than that in one life/time away from base. Say you save about 50hp each camp, 6x50hp=300hp. On your first clear, you have now just saved just over a third of your health.

In addition, make sure you time your Safe guard shield on your self properly as in blocking attacks that deal the most damage to you. For example, when you are fighting Krugs, try and time your shield for the larger Krug attack rather than the smaller Krug.

I hope this info helped you out! Keep the questions coming if you need more guidance :)

Hello, i just had a question about what slot you put your control ward in as i always get confused in what slot to put it in

Hey xBagad, a very good question! Obviously, whatever is the most comfortable is what is best, no doubt. The main thing is consistency as to where you put the control wards. Doing so will build muscle memory and soon it will become second nature.

I keep my trinket on 4 and control wards on 3. This way I can use my middle finger for ward placing, and my ring finger to follow up with safe guard! (Provided I use Q W E R for my abilities)

Cheers for the comment! Hopefully this was useful for you!

Thx bro i will try that, currently im so used to placing wards with 4 that i cant do it for anything else so i put one of my item slots to 4 and put control wards in there so i can place it easily and put my trinkets at 3
Thank you for the help

ok so i have an option on the runes, would it be better to take Sudden Impact or Cheap Shot since your second E slows them letting you deal more damage to them again or is that more of a stalemate kind of rune? great guide though i like it <3

Great Question! Cheap Shot is certainly a viable pick. It gives Lee Sin more burst and execute damage. You can see it at its strongest when you build an assassin like build!

I prefer Sudden Impact for it is more consistent with the damage output. Technically* sudden impact can be up permanently, where as Cheap Shot can only be used once every 4 seconds. The key point is that Sudden Impact can be utilized for a longer period of time. That's why I prefer it at least. :)

Hope that helped and thanks for the feedback!

* 40% cool down as well as max level in Q and W are practically essential.

hey i have a question. So after the patch 8.4, the tracker knife has been removed. What should i build instead of tracker knife because Lee Sin is a champ that based much on ward hop insect and i don't want to buy bunch of control ward.

What I tend to do is buy plenty of control wards to make up for the loss of tracker knife. The next best alternate route for gaining more wards would be purchasing a relic shield early in the game. If you do this, it is good to practice pushing out friendly lanes after a successful gank.

Edit: Take Ingenious Hunter for it decreases CD on trinkets... I.E more wards!
