Do u think Qiyana mid with bruiser runes and build is a good choice? Im starting to play her but i dont really like squishy assassins :s

Assassin build is still the way to go. Bruiser build lacks the oneshot potential compared to assassin one, and isn't really built with the bruiser build in mind.

Do you think it'd be better for someone who's learning Qiyana to play her mid/top/jungle?

I think jungle is quite dead these days. Mid is still probably the strongest choice for her, since you can roam to both sides of the map. Some players take her top sometimes if the matchup is favorable, but overall in top lane bruisers will most of the time abuse her weak early.

Why do you max E second over W?

Maxing W isn't that beneficial imo as the CD doesn't get any lower, you just get more attack speed with it and doesn't auto too much since she mainly just bursts with her abilities. Sure the AS helps but E is more worth to max second imo.

I see, thank you for your explanation! Is there a special way you prefer practicing combos/mechanics or do you just go over the basics you might need to use before a match?

I usually just go over auto attack animation cancels (if the champion has an ability that allows that) and the champions combos that I choose for the practice tool run. This is usually just for warming up my fingers.

Once you get used to playing a champion you kind of have it in your muscle memory. Practicing comboing and experimenting in practice tool is a great way to get consistency before a game. Personally I don't do it anymore, but when I'm practicing a new champion I might spend a bit of time in practice tool going over different combos etc before taking them into real games.

i feel like qiyana toplane is soo unsafe every matchup is a nightmere if its not a shquishy?

With top it's kind of hard right now with the current meta. You mainly want to play around with the brush Q as you can get invisibility and avoid key abilities from enemies via that. I do think is superior in mid since she can roam around the map as opposing in top lane your viable options are mid or to bot lane.

Hey so im a Qiyana mid lane and its really useful that you made this amazing guide but what im wondering is, for mid lane going Sorcery as a secondary rune could work since mid lane is basically mostly a bunch of mages. But there are champions like zed and yasuo which i dont really know how to counter, is the sustain page is better for these 2 champions ?

The sustain page is fine. You will have a little bit less damage since you are lacking but having a better early lane phase can lead into you having a better game overall. You can practice with it and then gradually transition into other rune setups if you want to have the extra bit of damage. The sustain page is mainly meant for lanes you get poked in, while and mostly want to all in you.

So because Zed and Yasuo would probably all in me, what runes should i take ?

If you need more defensive side into those champions then the only rune really that is going to help vs all-in is . Building in lane will help too, especially into .

does the build work for mid, I know it says lanes so you could see that as mid but I just wanted to be sure

Yeah the build is fine for mid. The build is pretty much the same, you just change it up depending on needs.

So core build for assassin is dusk blade, youmuus and edge of night. But why edge of night instead of umbral glaive?

I've personally kind of not paid attention to , although it's a great item for a roaming champion like . I think you still want to go and first since you'll gain mobility and more burst, but as 3rd item you can choose based on situation, whether you want or . The spellshield is really valuable on a squishy champion like , but if enemies tend to ward a lot then might make more sense if you aren't threatened by hard CC abilities as much.

Does jungle bruiser qiyana work as well as the jungle assassin based style?

Both can work well, but I think the bruiser playstyle has kind of died out due to assassin just doing stuff a lot more efficiently.

The jungle build is amazing but, mobility boots are more functional than ninja tabi

That is true, although in some situations you are better off going for the more defensive option. I've personally just always preferred other boots compared to , but again that is my personal preference.

Hello and good morning(morning for me at least :D)!

I think on you should always start red. After that you can do a path like: Krugs -> Raptors since you are starting with so you'll regen HP nicely. After that you will hit 3 (this is only for this patch, in pre-season this changes I believe) so you can look for a gank, or continue clearing if there are no good ganks to be done. However is a strong ganker due to her river element Q so you can maybe at least zone enemy off XP or force a .

As for tips on jungle, I'd say few things are utilize her ability to go over walls with W since that can give you the element of surprise, also when ganking if you can get in range, secure your river element Q hit with your E since it autoaims your Q for you.

Also be vary in the early game since your clear is slower and weaker than most meta junglers so if you get invaded you might be screwed.

ah btw should i always start whit q then i saw some qiyanas they start whit W and the river on it o.o?

W start is better since for a single target camp like Blue and Red buff you will be constantly applying autos which are empowered by your W. Q would give you slower clear with less damage for first camp. So to answer your question yes, start W.

ah okay thanks for the tipps i will try to do your route red > krugs -> raptors and see how its doing for me maybe i will change to red > krugs > wolves or idk i will expiriment around ^^ as i said befor thx for your reply have a good night ^^
