Totally not reading the rest of the post yet, going to watch the rest of the matches first.
Kind of altf4'd when I saw MC being very BM in the first game, just thought the rest of them would be like that.

QUICK NOTE: I am actually typing this up WHILE the games are being played so I can capture my excitement and emotions when things happen even better :) I'm hoping that even if you don't play Starcraft I can TRY to convey things in a way which can excite even the noobiest player
The two legends themselves.
oGsMC has already won a GSL season and he's so ****in' good at this game that he's able to get to the finals again. He's overall a very very very solid Protoss player.
ST.July was known as JulyZerg in Starcraft 1 and he actually won a Golden Mouse (very very prestigious Starcraft 1 tournament prize) and he's switched over to Starcraft 2 and wants to be the first person to win both Starcraft 1 and 2 finals. Starcraft 2 he's played a very aggressive Zerg style as opposed to the normal macro zerg and it's brought him from the only Zerg in RO8 all the way to the finals. I can't say much about my opinion on his play but he's always churned out very interesting games.
The finals are being held in a frickin' HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE *** stadium and it's PACKED. I mean up to the very last seat it's packed as hell, so you know people are very excited for these games.
So before the games began, the players were interviewed, MC was EXTREMELY confident and July seemed a bit more introverted but that's just his personality, he also feels confident because he says he's actually come up with a completely new style of ZvP (Zerg vs Protoss, July being Zerg and MC being Protoss).
After the interviews, Secret performed on stage. They performed Madonna and Shy Boy, it was actually very entertaining (me personally being a mini-fan of Kpop). And then the games began....
The map is Metalopolis, probably the most well-known map in Starcraft 2 from the beginning because it has never been removed from the map pool in tournaments and on the Ladder. They spawn cross position so July should be feeling a lot more safe than if it were close positions. July goes for a 15gas 15pool 15hatch sort of play (I think, I have the bad quality stream so I can't see the numbers all too well) and MC starts off pretty standard. MC actually decides to 4Gate, whoa. As we may know, the 4gate is a VERY all-in play so if and when he does push onto July's base, he HAS to do damage or else he will lose. Wait, what? July makes roaches and zerglings which is actually standard to respond to a 4gate even though he didn't scout it all the way BUT MC isn't going all-in 4gate, he actually throws down an expansion! With a heavy sentry stalker ball, MC pushes out and CANCELS HIS EXPANSION! July thinks that he's safe because he thinks the expansion is going up and OH MY GOD MC PUSHES IN AT SUCH A WEIRD TIMING! July can't respond in time at all and he just gets his natural expansion destroyed and forcefielded ramp. Even with the 2 spine crawlers it's not enough, July was tricked this game and THE ZEALOTS ARE DANCING INSIDE OF JULY'S BASE! WOW, that's INCREDIBLY BM (bad mannered). Then finally, the GG from July. He thought he was safe when he saw all those resources used on the Nexus at the expo but MC waits till the VERY VERY VERY last second to cancel it getting resources back and is able to push at such a weird time with a bunch of sentries and stalkers with a few zealots. July tries to defend with everything but he gets his ramp forcefielded so he can't defend with the units coming from his main and can only use the larva from his expansion. What a way to start off a BO7, with a faked 3gate transitioned into a 4gate (that's why there were so many sentries to wall the ramp).
With that it goes into a few commercials with just enough time to take a bathroom break :)
GAME 2
The second map is on Crevasse, a much much larger map introduced by the GSL themselves. A much larger chance of a macro game on this map because of such far distances. July decides to again go 15gas 15pool, but an even later hatchery. But that shouldn't be too much of a problem because there's 2 bases INSIDE OF YOUR BASE. It's so easy to expand on this map and oGsMC decides to go 1gate expand so there's a very very fast expansion but that's to be expected because of the amount of resources available on this map and how readily the resources are available. MC with his fast expansion actually running but very minimally saturated throws down 3 more gatewasy so it's a 4gate off of 2base. July also has his expansion running. Getting a lair and a Roach Warren at the same time, both bases are fairly saturated for both of them. MC puts down 2 more gateways so a 6gate timing push can be expected. July scouts the 6gate but the large distances of this map makes a push across the map very slow but I don't know, July doesn't actually have too many forces in preparation but he's actually making a lot of units in defense. MC actually has a LOT more sentries than you should be when doing a 6gate push. Massive forcefields around the few Roaches that July even had but this 6gate timing is so crisp against July's style of play. WHOA ULTRA BM MC! HE MAKES A NEXUS RIGHT INSIDE OF HIS ****ING BASE. These games are actually being televised in Korea so July is literally being embarassed on air. The 6gate was too strong for July because he's just not responding fast enough to these timing rushes so he GGs out. He had a Hydralisk Den but no Hydralisks were actually produced. The games are already 0-2 in MC's favor. The games have been very exciting so far and incredibly BM from MC.
GAME 3
The map is Terminus RE, another GSL map and they spawn close positions(ish). July still going for that gas into pool build, a very very safe build. MC is actually going to try and Forge expand but it's very important for July to try and pick off the scouting probe ASAP so MC doesn't know how many cannons he's supposed to be making. This map actually has 3 bases. July actually pulls off drones from his gas and doesn't put any back on even after scouting the forge expand which is a very weird kind of decision because MC doesn't actually know what July is doing and there's only 1 canon there but sees the zerglings and puts 2 more canons down. MC actually getting a Stargate and is chrono boosting out a Void Ray with some pretty cool chrono timing, with chrono waring off right when the void ray comes out. The Void Ray is actually harassing in July's base and MC also decides to get Phoenixes out to compliment the Void Ray. TWhat MC wants to do is gravaton beam the queens and charge up with the void ray and more phoenixes to shoot down the queens. July's Qeens are all dead but Hydralisks come out after the void rays and Phoenixes leave the base so very crisp timing by MC. 5 more warpgates are being thrown down by MC. Phoenixes pick off a drone that was looking to expand. July is pushing out with a HUGE Hydralisk force and JULY DROPS IN MC'S MAIN! THERE'S LIKE 20 HYDRAS VS 12 SENTRIES AND STALKERS! MORE HYDRAS ARE BEING DROPPED IN MC'S MAIN AND MC GG'S!! HOLY **** That was ****ing beautiful! He saw that there was so many Phoenixes and he was like "Hm, well that means he can't have any good kind of Stalker/sentry army so I'm just gonna go kill him" but he couldn't attack head on at the natural because there were so many sentries and cannons being put up in the front so he researched overlord speed and drop to make a direct attack to the main which was such a killing blow. The first round of Hydralisks just died to MC's forces but the second set gouged the eyes out of the husk of a person MC was made to look like at that point and he was forced to GG out.
GAME 4
The map is Crossfire which personally I'd say is incredibly ridiculously Protoss favored because there are so many ****ing choke points you could barely imagine it but what that also means is that baneling drops over their armies along with Fungal Growth from Infestors to keep them in place with maybe hive tech units like broodlords or ultralisks to tank the shots for the dropping overlords can easily crush large Protoss armies but we'll actually have to see what July decides to do. Since it is a 2 player map, they both know where they spawn so it'll be hard to comment on much stuff early on. July going again for that gas -> pool build so he plays extremely carefully against protoss. Personally I'm a fan of this, I don't do gas before pool, I usually go pool then gas and already, MC is taking 2 very very fast gas geysers ridiculously early. This may signal some cheese but again, we'll have to wait and see there's very few things to predict well early on. July pulling off gas at 100 and getting metabolic boost (zergling speed). MC actually getting a ridiculously fast Twilight Council and right as it finishes, 2 gateways get thrown down, no warp gate research completed JULY ACTUALLY TRYING TO SCOUT BUT HE'S SCOUTING IN THE COMPLETELY OPPOSITE DIRECTION NOOO OVERLORD MOVE DOWN MOVE DOWN DUDE OH MY GOD OHHH MY GOD! HE DIDN'T SCOUT IT, A DARK TEMPLAR SHRINE THINGY I DON'T EVEN CARE WAS BEING BUILD AND JULY DIDN'T SCOUT IT! Everything looks like it's a normal 3gate but July is just now getting his lair but he does see a Dark Templar as it's moving out. He still has no detection but there's 3 DTs in the middle of his ****in base. They're actually heading back! Wait what the ****? Okay, but I guess he got out RIGHT before the detection came out. At this point MC is running off of an expansion, July is too but barely and he's probably cowering in fear because he cant tell exactly what MC is trying to do so he might get hit with a very fast warp gate timing. Still 2 random DTs in the middle of the map. 3 more warp gates, so there's 6 gateways. MC pushing out with a heavy stalker sentry ball and July is actually throwing down a Hydra den so once that finishes he can defend this push pretty handily. Still 1 DT out but it's just there being annoying. July sees that MC has blink and just keeps backing up and reinforcing. MC with this 6gate has so many units and has the most impecable forcefield placement so roaches can't do anything and I think that's definately GG. That's a ridiculously heavy painful push into July's base. July GGs out. He didn't see the DTs and didn't respond in time, and then once MC knew that July was behind, he hit a really weird timing for July and pushed out with a ****load of Stalkers and Sentries with his perfect forcefield positioning, MC easily takes game 4.
GAME 5
The map is Shakuras plateau and oh my god July has to hope that he doesn't get close positions because close positions is ridiculously hard to hold off with a backdoor push from the rocks with any sort of 4 or 6gate timing MC can easily roll him and the game starts, July should be letting out a sigh of relief because they do spawn cross positions so no backdoor cheesiness going to be happening. July still going for that gas->pool build. MC going for another forge expand again. Everything is going very standard early game so all I can comment on is MC is 3-1 against July in these finals in a BO7. If July does lose this game MC gets yet another finals under his belt. July actually opting to take a ridiculously fast 3rd base. MC actually going for yet another 6gate timing with a ****load of sentries. July should scout this because he has zerglings parked out of MC's base and Stalker Sentry actaully moving out across the map, twilight council researching blink and +1 ground being researched, too. MC is taking down the rocks to July's 3rd base. July keeps taking down the probe that should be putting down pylons in order for warpins to be readily available to back him up. July pushing out with a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE Roach hydra army vs MC's Stalker Sentry ball and blink micro + forcefields is killing these hydralisks and Roaches. MC also getting a Dark Shrine so DTs are going to be warped in.It's very intense at the moment because those DTs can wreak havoc after MC picked off the Overseer. DT in July's 3rd has 8 probe kills and takes down half the HP on the 3rd hatchery. Stalker ball with blink engaging again with the Hydralisk ball off of creep so easily avoiding commitment with those Stalkers. July getting outnumberecd but with all those blinks they're just getting more and more damaged. 2 DTs being morphed in actually going to fight in battle and just get vaporized. July 's slow hydras are forced to fight the blink stalkers off of creep because they're so ****ing slow, July looses the last of his Hydralisks and July GGs out.

The GSL 2 time winner! Congratulations Jang Min Chul (MC stands for MinChul).
He looked like he effortlessly stomped July in the 4 games that he did win and all that cash and fame are all his. Ridiculously crazy games tonight and I'm happy that I could just type all this while watching my first GSL finals live ever :) It's actually 1 AM but I slept earlier in the day so I'm not actually too tired. MC so confident to even build Nexii in his opponents' base. Both of these guys are really ****ing good players but damn, MC is just soo ****ing good at this game, he gets it. A 2 time GSL champion and well deserving of it. This was so exciting and I think I gotta do something to get all of this adrenaline out of my system.

I hope you enjoyed reading this and even if you didn't enjoy seeing me nerdgasm all over, yay? I don't know what to say other than this set of 5 games was certainly epic just because of the players, even though it did seem that July got stomped and never actually got to show his new style of Zerg. July still a very very good player to make it into the finals of the GSL, he only got crushed because MC has such impeccable timing! It's ridiculous how good his timings are because it catches even the best players off-guard. I think that's actually all I'm going to type for tonight but I do hope you enjoyed my live play-by-play of the GSL even if you don't actually play Starcraft. If you don't know what I'm talking about well damn, you are missing out on some of the most epic moments in gaming and eSports history, please just take some time to get into Starcraft 2. This game gives such a rewarding feeling just to see such great players and how hard it is it actually play this game is nothing short of shooting a bullet mid-air with a bullet of your own. Congratulations again, to oGsMC and I would love to share even more moments like this with one of the best gaming communities I've ever come across. You, mobafire :) I think personally, online gaming has shaped me so much as a person and I think it's awesome that I can just convey my feelings throughout something as big as this to a community I'm so familiar with.
Again congratulations to the 2 time champion oGsMC and the runner-up ST_July, you two are truly an inspiration to the Starcraft community and anyone alike.
