In what instances would you run GA Swain?

If you wanna try it out, I would say that it's probably ok against short ranged champion that will engage on you, since Everfrost has a shorter range than GLP but a better payoff when trying to kite and CC chain enemies.

However I don't really think it's about a certain instance, it used to be generally good before the removal of GLP and was the main build I would use.

Whereas now with Everfrost it's a bit different and I think weaker comparatively the more that I have played since I wrote the guide. I might end up editing it out.

I don't know how to play at all, and am in fact a jungle main, but I play support sometimes and I had a couple questions.

Do you roam a lot as or are you fine to just stay in bot lane?

Also how do you manage souls and determine when to ult in a fight?

Well done on the guide!

Working on finishing up the last parts of the guide at the moment but this is what I talk about in it, in regards to your questions.

Roaming is usually best when you have an ADC that can be independent, whether it's through innate spells like Ezreal E or the enemy botlane doesn't have very aggro all in champs, or just the feel of the gamestate.

Another factor of roaming is what your jungle is doing and what champ they are playing, if it's something like Zac or Rammus you can make use of their CC for your passive pull. And if Mid has some hard CC you can do same.

But most of the time I'll be playing to pressure lane and get tower. And Using W to either assist in damage or slowing enemies fighting far away as its range is very big.

You don't really do anything with souls actively, they just give you permanent HP after hitting Swain's W or Use his Passive. You also get souls from walking near recently dead enemies.

And try to ult when the fight is starting to go All in and you can get close to enemies, not while both teams are dancing around waiting to start. This also means that if Enemies start running at you to engage Use the Ult as it makes you a little harder to kill.
