CAC 1 - Part 1b - Concept Submission

In this thread, we will be voting on concepts suggested in the Concept Submission thread.

This will be an Instant Runoff, meaning that you can vote for as many choices as you want. Rank them in order of preference, with 1 being your most preferred.

This poll will determine three concepts that will go on to the next round of voting.

For more info on what an Instant Runoff Vote is, see the rules thread.


The following submissions were picked according to:
-Viability (Is the idea balanced enough to be feasible?)
-Novelty (Is there already a champion that does something really similar?)
-Singularity (Was it already posted in the thread?)

Again, this is an instant runoff vote. Post your selections in order of preference.

However, I would highly recommend that you vote for no more than three of your top choices, just to simplify voting.

Name: Anti-CC Support
General Description: A Champion that could possible be made to support and create shields for anti-cc, wouldn't be the best support,but a perfect counter to hard-cc teams
Justification: CC has always been a good counter to many teams, but there is only a few counters to that, why not create another one ? It would close one of the 5 or 3 spots on your team, but it would enable you to resist to CC

Justification: Stealth, like ninjas, has been a untouched area by Riot. The most recent one isn't really stealth at all either(Nocturne). Many tanks are not able to initiate a fight well either. With stealth, a tank would be able to sneak up and start a fight right in the middle of the enemy. This would be a great start to a fight for any team. Stealth would have an indirect nerf because people would get Oracle Elixir and Vision Wards more often as well. This way, no one QQ about stealth champions being overpowered either.
Explanation: This tank would be able to initiate a fight well while not being able to do much damage at all. He/she would do this by appearing in the middle of the enemy to scare them and start the fight.

Explanation: This character will be going against the grain so to speak in terms of mage's. She/He will be in the middle of the fight while synergising with the CC effects of the tank. Debuffing enemy units while providing DOT. His/Her shield should provide resistance to all damage(excluding towers) where she would take less damage from multiple source's than if she was taking damage from one source. She would have a normal base HP for a caster and His/Her ultimate would be the sheild as well as dealing AOE damage (which would have a fairly long cooldown to prevent Him/Her being used as a tank)


Name: Anti-Assassin
General Description: Low damage output, but strong against stealthed opponents. Maybe have anti-jungle capacities as well.
Justification: A well-played stealth champ can get a very nice killing spree while remaining invisible for most of the game. It costs a ton to buy wards and oracles (potentially screwing up a good build), so add another something to counter stealth.
Explanation: Have a skill dedicated to tracking an enemy, so teamfights in the jungles occur more often. Initiate in the Jungle, and have specialized skills for jungle combat.

Additionally, bringing new compositions and stronger debuffing presence would be a strong counter to the current metagame of Tanky-DPS, and would allow for new metagames to be balanced around having a strong balanced composition than having a team full of powerhouses with one strong tank and one support babysitting entire teams.

Explanation:
With this champion you would be able to pick on their team forcing their support to waste skills undoing what you just did to that enemy, debuff them making them more vulnerable to your team's damage output and allow yourself, as this debuffing DPS, to make laning, harassment and solo fighting much more effective for your entire team. Since you're going to be using auto-attacks to apply debuffs, as well as skills, on-hit items would synergise extremely well with this champion, allowing for more varied builds depending on what you need to counter and what your team would benefit the most from debuffing.

Aww I wasn't picked :(

I'm just gonna leave the author's name and why I like it:


1. Jet

The idea of bringing the less used champs back into viability sounds amazing.

2. snipertimex6

Those junglers and stealths always needed a nice counter to them without off-setting your build.

3. Azdean

The idea of a mage geared toward teamfighting sounds pretty nice.

4. B-Wong

This game needs some more micro-managing capabilities. Plus pets just sound hella fun.

Cluster bombing from B-52s is very, very accurate -- the bombs always hit the ground.

Yes - ShadowReign illustrated the correct way to do an Instant Runoff vote.

In the future, please BOLD all votes.

Also try to pick no more than 3-5, although you really don't have to and can post as many as you want. It's just unlikely that anything past choice 5 will be considered for the next poll.

1. Azdean - Early ganks and shutdowns would bring a new layer of strategic foresight.
2. B-Wong - Although I dislike the way this idea was presented, it shows a lot of potential.
3. sniperx6 - I admit I'm a bit biased. Still, stealths are annoying, and Ranked Matches are all about counter-picks. Also TRACKING.

In LoL you can never have a champion based singularly around a single function. I guess that Riot interpreted Annie as the game's "summoner" when they made her. And "Low damage output, but strong against stealthed opponents. Maybe have anti-jungle capacities as well" would feel terrible in-game. Just giving my opinion on some of them. I also feel that stealth tanks are pretty messy - have you ever tried to build tanky Eve for the crazy initiation with Stealth + Hate Spike? Brooo. Also, I feel like Azdean's suggestion falls for about 1/4 of the game's casters already.

0-0 I was picked. Well, not to be biased.... but:


1. mobrebel - I had to vote for mine, it just is a better option than running a lol Tank Evelynn build. Also, it would be different.

2. Sleelan - "Thorns" champion sounds fun.

3. Skrallz - Out of the rest of them, it really seemed the most viable. Though, I still am a little iffy about it.

4. Azdean - Mages that only excel in teamfights would be a refresher.
