>rushing rabadons
Not only will this make you extremely weak UNTILL you do get your rabadons, but considering lux's high base damage, you're better off building survivability first and being passive till level 6, then bursting like hell.
>spellblade
actually blade isnt bad but very situational
>archangels
if you get this for ap and mana, get a roa, it's better because it gives you SURVIVABILITY (your build is a huge glass cannon, other then zhonyas (which you build at the end so it's p useless anyways, rushing it is better)), plus you're rarely going to be proccing it (You're a burst, the cooldown between bonus mana prevents you from actually gaining more then 2 procs, or 3 if you really space it out, so you're not going to be gaining many procs anyways)
>no lichbane in main build, and ONLY in the mr build
WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
it compliments your passive SO WELL, i kind of cried when i noticed it was gone, it's about as needed as ez needs sheen (if you play ez and don't know why, please stop)
>zhonya's
cancels your ult, again situational like spellblade.
Though i do like your idea for gaining the perfect amount of cdr when you get your build, however maximizing your cdr early game (what runes and masteries are for! helping early game!) gives you about 14%, meaning you only really need morellos to gain a decent amount (Sure, 4% more, thats 2 seconds on your ult, 26 is fine.)
Fortify is a good trick to use with lux, kill turret divers, however, it's not gaurentee'd you can survive, and most people that CAN turret dive can live 2 seconds of snare and 50 shield for a few seconds, it's not bad, but i wouldnt take it myself.
Ghost can easily be prepared, unless you're a god at predicting movements, i like to take clairvoyance with me (Good on minor support characters which lux is classified, plus it mixes with your ult quite well after enemies exist FoW), or flash.
Clarity is fine, i take it myself, but it's rather useless after early game (I take it in case i need a burst of mana to A. Save myself or B get a kill, then after roa i use it to replenish other allie's mana.
All in all, i dislike this build. Sorry.
(On a side note, i HAVE played with the creator of this build, noticed they were using a generic AP build (it was different then, this was before tenacity was even introduced) and i used to main lux (still do, just play her a lot less) so i got a bit peeved, she never left their lane (along with who i assume is her husband, who was nasus at the time) and the rest of the team died due to 3v5 teamfights. She then bragged about how it was 4th best (it was, back then) build on mobafire.)
@vikinator I usually grab an Archangel's first, unless they have a really CC heavy team. And yes, in the "ideal" team fight, Lux is in the back and the tanks are in the front. But hardly any team fights are perfect, and regardless of where you are, CC will still get you, whether you initiated or they pinched you. So tenacity is pretty viable when put into likely situations instead the ideal ones.
@EpicPure Thank you! xD
Peace.
when you are lux, and you are stunned or whatever, it means you are dead, doesn't matter if you have tenacity.
you are supposed to be far away from anyone from other team, and spam E and mega lasers and Q is just escape ability...
way better to get rod of ages for her, so you don't have to pick clarity and have some extra hp if you get ganked
