I just wanted to try a for fun full Ms build and I searched for phase rush. Their was something about this in Reddit so I tried it and it worked.
Although I feel like it can be good in the late game but it has almost no use in lane.
I have now played Senna worth of 320K MP and i think that I can add a topic or two.
when using the aa + Q combo it's ideal (especailly if can applied from trading)that the Q cancels half of the auto animation when she does not have more AS than she has early on.
Prior when i had to go squishy killer i also still went for fleet. But commet is an interesting angle i would have to try. I do still think that zombie ward with Umbral has good synergy. Even though Mist do say that U-hunter is not worth it I do still think that it can change some games especially when you do go the lethality route. Therefore axium also plays nice into this with another lethality item like collector.
If you experience that this causes mana problems I would suggest running tier. I do only play senna in the supportingrole. I cannot speek for fasting or ADC senna
Fasting is not a real thing in soloQ unless you're Masters+, and even then you can't consistently play it.
ADC is not in a great spot right now, even though she has pretty good items that define her place in the meta right now, she struggles against most meta ADCs.
But in terms of actual strength, Fasting is really strong right now. She has good pairs and because Last Chapter got buffed, she is even more unstoppable in lane now.
But basically, Stormrazor is a good "capstone" item, if you don't need anything else after your cores. It scales with 60% bonus AD, so if you build this pretty late, you will deal a lot of damage with it and the MS is always nice.
Im low elo and im trying to get gold playing adc, i just want to know how to build crit/lethality wth the new patch and the update of the new items, are u going to change the builds? Appreciate it man. Greetings from Spain <3
For your question, deciding between Crit and Lethality should be the same (crit if you have enough peel, need to kill tanks or you're against an ADC who struggles against hypercarries, Lethality if you're against a better hypercarry, the enemy team is squishy or you want to focus more on utility), but honestly Youmuus is such a broken item right now i would try to play it every game.
Also, builds have already been updated for 13.10.
Since I use First Strike, magical footwear, and future's market, I am nearly always able to get my Eclipse before anybody else has completed an item. It's been a slow game if I haven't gotten it by 10 minutes.
First Strike gives you additional gold based on damage dealt. So I can make a cool ~70 gold every time I go in to poke with it. A quick AA/Q combo. Couple this with future's market, not having to buy boots1, and passive gold from the black scythe and you'll out-earn literally everybody so long as they aren't fed 3+ kills.
Since I'm able to get Eclipse so early, I typically dominate bot lane. I'll basically exclusively start an exchange with an auto attack or W. By the time the enemy is returning fire, I've procced Eclipse and gained a shield to mitigate their damage. And with the % health damage from Eclipse and my passive, half of their health is gone in a single exchange.
I will say though, first strike as a keystone makes the first 5-10 minutes more difficult since you aren't getting the move speed burst of fleet footwork/approach velocity. Just gotta play a bit more conservatively until you get the eclipse and then you'll change the dynamic of bot lane so fast you'll make their heads spin.
When building lethality as support (your comment mentions the support item so i'm guessing we're not talking about ADC), not rushing Umbral Glaive is a huge mistake. Ignoring that you're the support and your gold should be mainly spent in ways to help your team, none of the lethality items really synergizes with Senna's kit, so when building it, she's mainly looking at raw stats, and Umbral is the perfect item for that.
In this line you're only talking about First Strike's strengths. I know what makes FS strong, you're not really saying anything. Although you would first think that Senna needs some sort of income related rune, because of her expensive builds, she doesn't really need it because of her mists. You never feel like you're behind when sitting at components while building an expensive item, because you're constantly getting raw value from mists.
Now for Eclipse; You mention its ability to mitigate damage when trading, and the burst damage in a short trade it provides. This would be good points, if it wasn't for Duskblade doing the same, but better. Duskblades grant +5 extra AD compared to Eclipse, contributing to your Q healing, which is already a self heal (it also makes your Q slow better). Not only that, but the AH over Omnivamp it provides grants more "healing per second" and Duskblade's Mythic Passive further increases your healing (Eclipse's mythic passive does not increase Q healing, as it is % armor pen and not actually Lethality). Add to this the fact that Duskblade's increased healing it's provided for the whole team, while Eclipse's omnivamp is only for you.
And now for the burst part, Duskblade also has an extra damage passive. And it will outdamage Eclipse because it has less CD, and it resets on kills (besides it's just more raw damage, specially in the early game when no one is that tanky). On top of the better damage, it also has a niche but overall good passive of invis after a takedown.
You have one more line in your comment but i think I already said enough. I hope this helps.
