From your description of Horizon Focus vs Dawncore it comes off as if you have never actually built Dawncore and just looked at it purely stat-wise. When do you build it? With what items? Why do you never even mention Horizon Focus' passive? (Vision is very powerful after all)

For me with full build you lose 28% heal and shield power just from swapping Dawncore for Horizon Focus (which I don't think I need to explain is a lot), and gain 7% AH and barely any ap (254 vs 274). Also showing that ap item provides higher BASE shielding proves nothing, as heal and shield power does not show on abilities.

Redemption is as you said flat healing, and I personally would not recommend building it due to the same reason: We can heal and shield enough with more useful items rather than Redemption (Solo queue isn't Worlds. We won't get amazing use out of it).

I also agree regarding Mikael's Blessing, it does not make sense to get it when you already have Breath of Life, however I don't see connection between Fired Up! and Staff of Flowing Water. The reason you build Staff of Flowing Water is the same reason you'd build Ardent Censer. For your ADC or more preferrably your team, maybe even yourself (You want AP as well after all and you grant it to both your teammate and yourself).

I would not put Smolder or Samira in Ardent Censer category (neither of them really scale with AS (they're both more of ability casters rather than auto attackers like Jinx or Zeri).

I won't really dig more into the guide. I just wanted to clarify some of your confusion regarding "why are those items built".

Long story short: You should test and experiment with those items some more ^^

Hi! Thanks for taking the time to comment :)

Right know I don't have the time to test and build a better case for HF vs DC since I'm working 24/7 xD. But I did try to go DC and it never heals enough. Also, I'm sure I tested that heal and shield power shows on abilities (but again, no time to confirm, sorry). I'll come back to this point later if no one else can bring proof on ether direction. I promise to rewrite and expand the guide when I have better info wether I'm right or wrong, since this is a very interesting discussion for me.

As for Staff of Flowing Water, is just a matter of choosing ether that item or something else. I just don't find the place for it in the archetype I propose. When I exchange Ardent Censer with Moonstone Renewer i'm thinking of supporting a hyper carry ADC that benefits a lot from Attack Speed. In my tests, I use it with my ADC and sometimes the jungler without issues, keeping both with all the buffs I can give. But with Staff is different, I just haven't found the champ that makes me go for it to get a significant advantage. I'm already empowering AP with my abilities thanks to Fired Up!, and the staff doesn't bring an amount of AP that would have an impact. At least that's my experience and reasoning.
After all, an important aspect of this build is to have Horizon Focus as second item (depending on the game) to have a spike in shielding, healing, AH and vision.

I'll make sure to expand and improve this guide, chechking what we discuss here when I have the time :)

Fired Up! scales with your AP, not the player you give it to (and you only have 20% AP scaling which is bad), the only thing that comes from them is their AD (which AP champions obviously won't have a lot of). Staff of Flowing Water gives them free 45 AP just for being within your Cozy Campfire or getting shielded by you, which can be very helpful for champions like Kog'Maw or Twitch if we're talking botlane (as they both have abilities that scale great with AP and probably should be building at least some AP), and mages / AP assassins.

45 might not seem like a lot but that's basically 850g of value right there ( Blasting Wand gives 45 AP for 850g) which in case of support items is basically as much if not more than one item gives.

In your case building pure AP isn't good because if you use extended tooltip (which I assume you don't even know about since your screenshots don't show it on abilities) to check your AP scaling on abilities it's below 50% on all except Ultra Mega Fire Kick which has 120%. So instead of 120AP You basically get 18 more healing on your Cozy Campfire if you build Horizon Focus and that's over the duration not per second. Not to mention if you need AH just build support items, both Echoes of Helia and Moonstone Renewer give 20 AH. 5 more won't make a difference when it's 550g more expensive, especially when you can use that 550g to get Glowing Mote and Boots for building Ionian Boots of Lucidity instead.

Moonstone Renewer provides 30% extra healing / 35% shielding and it can be on the same person as well if there is nobody else near, so instead of 100% of 200hp shield you give them 200hp shield + 60hp shield.

Also I'd advice you to rush Echoes of Helia instead, as it's a flat heal/dmg due to which it's better as 1st item rather than 2nd ( Ardent Censer isn't actually worth rushing in my opinion no matter the champ because they don't have a lot of AS and won't be able to make much use of your on-hit damage). It also has crazy synergy with your Cozy Campfire (letting you constantly stack it and apply additional heal/dmg from it).

I'd assume you've seen my guide already but in case you haven't I'd highly encourage you to do so, possibly try it for a few games and see how it works for you, as it might explain my point of view regarding some items and maybe even clarify stuff to you.

P.S if you'd want to you can just reach out to me on discord instead of here for easier communication (name same as here, but you can also just use link in credits section of my guides as well).
