My question relates specifically AOE ults like Fid, Nasus, Renek. Are you instantly dealt damage the second you enter the AOE or is it more like a pulse where the champs shoots damage out every x seconds. Id like to know as im starting to play Eve a lot more. I am just wondering if im fast enough can i execute a low hp one of these without taking damage especially if im really low.

I think it's a pulse, but don't hold me to that one.

I wonder how we could test it. It would be a very small margin of error but could be the difference between life and death.

Yea, I think it is. For Fiddles ult it's like X amount of "pulses" over X time whereas Karthus would be Xrate of pulses for as long as Defile is up.

They're both the same in applying damage, just that Fiddle's one ends after a certain time and Karthus's one ends when deactivated.

It actually depends.
For Gangplank's Ult, it only deals damage if you get hit by a cannonball.(Almost survived it by standing still once)
For Wingborne Storm, It's a pulse.
For Make it Rain, it's as soon as you step in, and then pulses.

Not an AOE DoT.

Not a normal AOE DoT. It pulses way slower than all normal ones to fit the animation.

No. It works just like any other normal AOE DoT. It pulses every 0.xx seconds.
If that is how it works. It seems very likely that it does work like that.

I.e: Mike Rogers doesn't think it's rape unless the victim knows (s)he has been raped. Sounds legit.
