Thanks for the feedback Bagzak. Also, thanks for trying a 2nd game. Alistar is quite team dependent but if done correctly he rapes =)

And to the ppl voting down, please comment why!

I had my doubts but went ahead and tried the build. 1st game was a loss but I blame that on pub teammates 4/11/18 (my eyes opened to the potential). The second was much better with an easy win 3/7/24. This was the most fun I've had playing Alistar in a long time. +1 Great build.

Thanks for the additional feedback guys. I do agree, adding some guns to Alistar, or making him more tanky might be the ultimate build, but it is by far not the most interesting build, or even a possible build. This build is about roaming, and in roaming you will not be able to afford all these good and expensive items! I believe I do mention that as well.

Anyways, thanks again, appreciate it, and I always read your ideas and consider them!

Regards,

gustawtf

Its a nice build, BUT: you are more than enough tanky from the moment u hit lvl 6. The ult is just about the tankiness you are looking for on any champ. I prefer going for Sheen and Atmas (yeah, atmas, it rocks on alli), then going for banshees if i need more survival. Frozen also gives a good mix of hp and dmg. Truly, alli is a tank from birth, all you need is to supply him with guns. +1

This sounds like a "normal" build for Alistar? Maybe you haven't noticed, but this is a roaming build/guide?

Thank you all for the feedback.

Arpen marks were ment to synergize with Alistars old passive. Now, when its magic damage on Tramble, I will have to reconsider

The reason I put zeal in items was also because it builds into trinity force, which is good on Alistar. Due to the new passive, he wont be pushing so hard, and adding a FoN seems like the better choice.

@ Kuribo; As i said in the introduction, this is not a guide for the whole game. Warding and ganking are the basics, and there are other guides for that. I might link to them though. Alistar does need the movement speed, since he was the slowest champion in the game more or less. Evelynn migh do well with only boots, but she also have faster base speed. If you cant catch up to enemies ure worthless.

Thanks for your feedback again guys

If you're focusing on roaming you should be using flat seals / glyphs since you will be underleveled.

I don't understand the point of arpen marks, wouldn't most of his damage come from his spells which deal magic damage?

And in your runes section the marks are still listed as attackspeed.

I love you man. Very nice build, although im still not liking the zeal.. I understand the movement speed, but why not just get an item to make you a bit tankier, and build into a Force of Nature if you wish for that little boost of speed? Other than that keep up the work. Its great. +1

-1 for:
bad item description (also not having alternatives)
bad gameplay description (warding and ganking)

and don't you think you have a little too much movement speed? most roaming champs can keep their +1 boots and still do thier job, so really a zeal AND ms quints?

Roam Alistar is really popular now.

Anyways nice build.

A good decision process for choosing FoN or BV has to do with the CD and types of spells that the other team has in the repertoire. If you have casters that have low cd spells, a FoN is probably better, but if they have longer CD, nukes, or other hard hitting/combo spells, a BV is probably better. Because you're using alistar and cc doesn't work on him during his ulti, FoN is probably better for him. I play singed, so I agree with the need for speed :).

EDIT: Also, big change to Alistar. They have him 5 bonus speed. No other change of importance happened to him...
