What makes his ultimate any different than Ezreal's, Ashe's, or Twisted Fate's. They are all abilities that allow the player to deal damage from across the map, and they are on lower cooldown's than his (at least Ashe's is). It doesn't even do much damage early game.
It is also quite hard to land your Lay Waste. I know longtime Karthus players can do it easy, but its harder than it looks. And why shouldn't we be rewarding players that are able to play their champion amazingly?
It's different because you have to put absolutely no effort in prediction. Even if it doesn't do much damage early game you're more succeptable to being bursted down early game and he's just there to herp derp R to finish you off.
Landing Lay Waste is easy as hell. I won't even argue this point.
Rewarding players that play their champions amazingly? If the champion is so damn easy to use what's the point of further rewarding the player? It's like giving the queen of England the winning lottery ticket.

That's an incredibly stupid argument..
"Blizzard spoke thus; Thou shalt not BM. And the players replied Nay, I shall Play my hand with Lethal already on the board. And so Blizzard sent unto them this Brawl of Yogg, As a lesson for their sins of Pride and Greed, for he is the Prophet of Madness and RNG. On that day, the tavern descended into an era of chaos and darkness, until the weekend passed and everyone forgot all about it. Amen. Book of SMOrc, Verse 20, Chapter 4." - Feam T

Fine, I submit to you Mobafire greats.
However, I still think that his ultimate was not the problem.
I apologize if you think I'm an idiot.
You are not an idiot and shouldn't feel that way for voicing your opinion, this is a forum after all.
Like scrax said, the ultimate wasn't too bad. I used to play Karthus quite a bit and early game his ulti wasn't really a problem, it was more late game (where you could get 1k AP). Like they said in the patch, is only went down from 0.7 to 0.6, not a big difference. I think you will find better Karthus players now.
I never said you were an idiot, but that specific argument was really stupid.

So long as i can piss karthus players off with shaco, i am happy
Lolwut, Karthus is the Anti-Shaco.
He goes invis? No problem, just use E.
He reappears, bursting down half your health. No problem, wall on him, keep E on, Q, Q, Q, Q. Dead Shaco :D
Maybe I just play against bad Shacos, but there is seriously no escaping for him.

I'm damn sorry he's over halfway across the map and one of his buddies tried to burst me down. I'm also damn sorry that the player doesn't need much more than a Q and a R key on his keyboard to play the stupid character.
