Spent my puberty dedicated to this silly game. :]
It's the first successful micro-transaction game in North America, mostly due to Nexon's greedy ways.
Level's fairly easy now.
Levels 1 ~ 50 can be easily achieved by questing casually for 1~2 weeks.
The game in Korea just updated to improve Party quests (which were bombed to worthlessness in the Big bang Update), which means the game's grindfest may finally be over.

Always - Just find trustworthy friends who sell; there's also the MapleTradingSystem which lets you sell certain items for NX cash.
Current NX:Meso ratio in NA-MS is... 1,000 nx to 30,000,000 mesos give or take?
Yuh, Nexon does give lose any night's sleep over the inflation problem...
