If you post a build as a guest and then later decide you want it tied to your account, currently only the Administrators have the power to do so. Send a PM to Hades4u and he will help you out. Include a link to the guide in question to expedite a resolution.

When I copy it and press Publish, it says I don't own that guide and can't modify it. Is there anything else I have to do to claim a build?

I'm not too familiar with the mechanics, but you might have to be on the original computer you created it on (might be IP logged).

The only thing I can recommend is setting the guide filter to all builds and going back to the time you wrote it.

Which champ did you write about and when did you publish it?

Yes

Filter by champion, threshold = all and sort by date.

Here is an example (this one is for anivia)
