Sorry, but I fail to see a valid reason as to what you are trying to argue. I assume you are saying that wards are useless unless you are in a premade.
If that is the case you are still wrong as it is always a good idea to buy wards.

He is saying that wards are useless if people don't look at their map.

It's kind of a silly point, since only fundamentally bad players don't look at their map.

Even still if you wont look at your map, or listen to the ping of the map then you have no reason playing LoL. If one wont learn the basics of something, they have no reason to continue with what they are doing.

Yeah, don't tell that to us, who have probably been looking at our maps ever since we noticed it and obviously at least semi care about the game to be on a website dedicated to said game...tell it to the people who really don't give a **** :P

You say that like there isn't a massive number of people in this and every other game in this genre's communities that never learn and even go so far as to resist getting better. Like I was just discussing in a QQ thread over how bad the community is: you can get games where you talk and try and coordinate with your team for 15 minutes and then finally you go "why is no one talking?" and some douchelord goes "stfu already". These are quite likely the same people that have no interest in improving at this game.

No, I say this out of truth. If you are unwilling to do the basics of a game, you have no reason playing the game. Same goes for anything out there in life.

Im not sure how you got that impression.

Dude, don't get me wrong, Ya1232. I agree. I hate these fools that just can't be asked to push up their game. I'm just trying to make the point that you obviously can't force these people to stop playing since they clearly don't care, so you might as well not try and operate with a policy of idiots that refuse to ward because they can't be asked to learn basic stuff.

Personally, I'm just glad this idea isn't a tenth as bad as it is in HoN.

I know you cant force them to stop, well without having to go to extreme lengths and those are almost worth it at times, but you can wish they would just accept the fact they make the game worse for those that do care.

Swear if I could invent something that allowed you to hit someone through the internet I'd be rich.

Too true, Ya! Go Live Free or Die Hard and push a button to blow up their computer. :P

But really, I've been saying this for ages and have continued to do so in recent posts: these games have this massive issue because the devs don't do much of anything to encourage players to get better. I mean, how often do you see someone climb out of the complete gutter trash tier of players and get to the pro tier status? There's nothing to support a minor league that encourages folks to get better. There's just rewards for the people that happen to be at the top tier of play.

Well, Matchmaking should do just that no?

Matchmaking will take the bad players, and put them with other bad players.

Good players will naturally start to play with other good players.

People can get "carried" but still, they won't get carried every single game they play.

That's really not what it's about Temzilla. Just as people mention in QQ threads about Elo hell. There are legitimately people that just don't give a rat turd about the game even in ranked. While some people are driven by a silly number (Elo) others aren't and these people are the ones that troll from ranked to normal to custom. Doesn't matter. Imagine it this way, remove high school, college and minor league (AAA, AA, A) Baseball and you end up with everybody just shows up to tryouts for the MLB and that's it. If you inserted lower level leagues for people to have a challenge in their path you'd at least sort out most of the trashcans that just want to make others miserable. Few people would really feel like going through the league sign-up process just to troll.

Basically, there are pros and cons to having it be so easy to join MM. Yes, it's very convenient to get in a game (it's why I choose LoL over HoN to be honest - that and the ****iness of HoN's MM servers for my ISP), but it also makes it so EVERYONE is lumped into the same pool. And I don't simply mean pros and joes. I mean pros and the experts on the game that just aren't that skilled or the mid tier guys and then all the way down to the trolls and the guys just starting out. There's no division other than Elo and everyone starts out at the same place and there are multiple groups in that starting bracket that just don't care and aren't being given a reason to care.
