Tbh every off-topic section of a forum needs a picture thread and a video thread. GIF's and comics don't necessarily have to be separate, but I agree that it's quite pointless to have both this and the "beat a picture"/"beat a video" threads.
Still, those two threads are a completely different game and I think we'd be better off with official random picture/video threads so we don't feel obligated to post one related to the one before us.
