1) "Tags: , 5v5, ap, caster, detailed, farmer, guide, in-depth, malz, malzahar, mid, nuke, pet, the cake is a lie, void" LAAAAWL.
2) For your Ability Sequence, I'd suggest maxing one ability first, then another, leaving the 3rd til last (less likely to confuse the average reader)
3) It's a personal thing, but I think you may have too much color. You don't want to scare people away.
4) In a Nutshell could go inside your Intro ^^
5) I'd suggest swapping Ghost with Ignite in your Summoner spells section so that the columns look more uniform. Basically with columns, the information/sentences for each column have to be the same length in words for them to look right.
6) I'd suggest chucking some seperators between your abilities. Also <3 for using Searz's template, but having a Skills section anyway <3 Also, maybe think of centring your icons.
7) You can also set QWER to automatically smart cast by changing the keybindings. Doing that is far easier than holding Shift ^^
8) Very aesthetically pleasing guide!
EDIT: Lol at the "The cake is a lie" tag. xD
You are right, AA is good on him, but I do feel I need some HP at this point at the game. Malzahar can still be a beast in teamfight with even close to 500 AP, so stacking a lot of AP and leaving survivability behind is not my thing. AA is still a good item on him though :P
Regarding Seals, I have most of my Mana problems during levels 1~8. After that, I would either have Tear of the Godess(I'f i'll be building an AA), golem buff, or, if beeing dominated in lane, even stack a few Doran's Rings, so I preffer to focus my Mana Regen on the earlier levels :)
And Glyphs, I tottaly think that most of these runes are not so great for him... Scaling AP is bad, flat AP doesn't change anything either, so I decided to focus some on CDR. They can be swaped for CDR/level, too.
And I've read your side note in the forum thread, tbh, I've seen players that can literally Q+E and kill. It all depends on your opponents, rly ^_^
Items: If your looking for abillity power instead of an ROA (because you going ahead and getting a BV) Perhaps an AA Staff? I've played, and it has always been a good item on him imo. Plus it will eventually give you more AP then ROA.
Runes: I would swap out your seals for seals of clarity they give you more mana regen at level 7. Also your CDR runes, I'm not postive it they are totally worth it because the most you maybe reducing is about a second off your cooldowns. So I'd swap them out with something else.
Good job.
1)
2) Never mix flat and percentage reduction (
3) Not sure if your "Disclaimer" is necessary :P
4) You should just replace "It" with
5) Coding mistake: "If you cast [[Malefic visions] on someone, the little fella will go after him."
6) Should mention that
7) D: That fluro green is so awful on the eyes.
8) Coding error: "I start with icon=Doran's ring size=64 to get the bonus AP"
9) Very nice guide. It's a great start to what I can see becoming a top rated guide ^^
vote.
Explanations could be nice ;)
Also, if you are downvoting this without even reading it just because I downvoted yours, thinking you get some kind of revenge, you are terribly wrong. I wrote this guide in order to show my way of playing him, and possibly learning from others as they correct my mistakes. Nevermind, don't want to argue :)
Anyways, I fixed it. Sorry for the mistake :P
