erm....what? When I jungle udyr I start at Blue, with Q.... I use arp reds, yellow armors, magic resist blues and health quints.. no problemo at all, I usually finish blue with a quarter health left and regen it with turtle.
Cant understand why u guys have problems and low on health O.o.. my only problem with udyr jungling is my terrible ganking skills with him...
oh and pheonix isnt MUCH faster, its slightly faster..especially after the jungle creeps got buffed some MR and ****

Well there's my problem. Everyone has been telling me to start at blue with phoenix.

With the right masteries you should be able to clear the jungle with less than optimal runes.

You should be able to jungle without leash with 0/21/9. Longer buff duration>Smite mastery.
