after playing a few rounds with him.... yorrick is a terrible laner. however, he is a decent jungler. he can run the blue run, but will have to recall after the second wolves. (if he gets a leash in the beginning) he does have one thing that marrs his jungling though, he has a less than stellar ganking game. if he can get behind and slow his target, he can pull off some decent burst with his W > E > Q > attack.
i think his mid/late game is fine if you build him mildly tanky with lifesteal and damage. (wriggles lantern, boots of swiftness for chasing, frozen mallet, aegis of legion, and bloodthirsters is what i ran) and he has great survivability, good damage, and a decent aoe CC.
the biggest problem though is he is slightly UP, his W needs to be buffed. it needs more range and late game it needs more power (40% burst slow and a sustainable 20% slow? not that great) also, his ult is kind of UP for the time it lasts, 10 seconds would be fine, but considering you lose 10% of your health every second, if you get focused even a little you will get smashed.

But, yeah, he seems to be pretty UP. His ultimate is just an inferior form of Zilean's, and he's just meh. He also can't jungle according to Stonewall. My low expectations are already not being fulfilled. R.I.P. Yorick

stonewall is wrong, his jungling is just fine. its not tier 1 (or even tier 2 for that matter) or anything, but he can keep up level wise and he can pull off ganks. after he has his ult he can clear the dragon super fast solo as well (at lvl 11, i havent tried dragon solo before that tho)
