Alright, I'll keep that in mind and if I make any changes you'll be the first to know. ;D

No problem I alway kinda want to help fellow TF players. Less...I tend to rage at the fail ones, but I doubt that is you.

Oh and I will try to keep an eye on this build, but if you make any major changes just shoot me a pm on mobafire, and I will look over it for ya.

Okay since as you said your new to this I'm gonna help you out.

1st: Your runes make me cringe. Why? It is simple you see I am seeing non-3rd tier runes. So I assume this is what your using, which is always always a mistake. Use what you think is best not just what your using. Next why all health runes? If your going AD then you need some ArP, but health seals and maybe quints are a yes. I'd get either MR or CD glyphs.

2nd: Your masteries aren't bad just gonna suggest Good hands over preseverance.

3rd: Items. I agree with some of the items I see, but to make some changes. 1st off vamp scepter is not a good starting item. Go with Doran's blade the difference is awesome. Now moving on you need some AD, and this looks like a crit build. Because you amy attack fast, and get lots of crits which is always nice. Though criting is nice, but lets say I have more AD, but less crit chance. I will do more damage with every attack that you don't crit, but when I crit it is gonna hurt a whole lot more. If I crit every 6 out of 10 times, and you crit every 8 out of 10 times, but two of my crits are near fatal to you well...who is gonna win?

Now something very important you need is surviabillity if the enemy isn't stupid they will realize oh he hurts let's kill him first. Lifesteal won't cut it my friend I will tell you that, so maybe get some items to help you surivive.

Finally something to help decorate your guide. Helpful tip

4. For the writing section you could use an alternate item section, and just how to use skills sections with tips and tricks. Also throwing in something about how activating SOTD's passive can make a world of difference early on will always be considered helpful.

I normally get bloodrazor and then SotD. im trying to work trinity force and a phantom dancer into my build, gives extra movement speed and the nice passive plus SotD and stacked deck. ive won 3 games in a row so far

Well, thanks for the comment. I appreciate it. I'm still a champ building noob. I'm glad you informed me of so much though. I'll take everything you said into consideration and work to adjust my strategies for future play and/or builds. :D

Mathematically speaking, there are a few issues I'd like to address.

In the short term, SotD is a fine choice and it looks good because of the synergy with Stacked Deck.

A PD, while being more expensive, will offer almost the same results in regards to damage however.

The main difference is, in the long run, PD gets better when you get some AD, and SotD becomes essentially useless.

You're better off with Bers greaves -> Zeal -> Zeal -> Vamp scepter - > PD -> Inf edge -> PD -> Blood Thirster -> Trinity Force, if you want the auto attacking "Glass cannon" kind of build.

However, I should point out, there is another reason to your limited success.

TF's auto attack range is awful. He can't lane in mid with most "Mid lane" champions unless he goes AP. The range on his wild cards and clever use of his red cards on minions allow for harassment against even longer range champs.

This is not a issue with your build, it's an issue with the champion.

For the same reasons, however, TF is not an ideal choice for an Auto attacking, carry type champion. His range is too short, so in order to deal damage he will be in dangerous range of being focused, and die in most occasions during teamfights. If not, he may be zoned out of the fight and be useless.

Unfortunately, he's not the ideal champ choice for this kind of play, and while yes, you absolutely can do this build and will win some games with it, superior champ selections and game knowledge should allow an equally matched player to beat you if he's got a better champ for the job.
