After we discuss I will try to make an improved version.
I can't remember who, but somebody suggested that she throw leaves like shurikens instead of a bow, and I kind've liked that idea. We need to go look at the skillset and try to coordinate the weapon with that.
For example the autoattack could be a leaf. Every xth auto attack (the silencing one) could look different / have a glowing animation when it's read. The tether she could use a vine that sort of "appears magically" (she is a dryad after all) and for the Debuff she can throw some mess of weeds / moss in their face or something.

I am pointing out that so far we have decided in the skillset already, we will have a projectile, a tether, a debuff, and an ult that spreads a debuff. Therefore we should keep this in mind when thinking of the flavor, to think of a concept that will make sense with these spells.

indeed, a theme that's connecting with the lower vegitation in a forest (we already do have a tree in the league) would be pretty cool.
With a throwing animation that has a leaf, I'd probably like a fern-leaf more then the normal oakleaf (from the canadian flag).

I think the flower theme idea is pretty good too, perhaps in the idea of shedding pedals? (I know the flavor text for skills is later but for the countdown auto-attack she could be throwing the pedals of a flower and on the (x)th attack throw the stem) this could also go well with a theme of the cycle or blooming and wilting.

'Beatrice, Natures Thorn'
'Taimi, Forest Ally'
Vague lore theme tie in:
Nature seems to resist changes and over time will revert to what it was (for example think of an abandoned house in the woods, all overgrown and almost turned back wild), she could be a forest sprite that exemplifies those traits.
Other notes:
+ Some champions have auras around their feet where they stand (e.g. Morganaa, Kassadin), she could have that with some taller grass(just enough to be noticable) and some flower blooms in her immediate area.
+ For weapons she could use the bow as pictured, she could use the thrown foliage as descrbed in earlier posts, or perhaps a type of staff that rapidly grows a spore (kind of like a dandelion) that flies to the target
Oh, and some jokes/taunts:
"You want me to 'leaf' you alone, that 'wood'nt be any fun."
"Feel the wrath of my flower power."
"Seems I need to 'weed' out some champions."
"Roses are red, violets are blue, nature will be the end of you."
"The grass is always greener...on my side."
"It seems you are rooted in fear, nothing my little green thumb can't fix."
There, I may think of more later but that should be enough to look over for now

Alright I gotta try my hand at this. Though I have to kinda say when I look at her I think nature, but if something else comes up I will come back.

Maya, Guardian of Nature
Gabrielle, Nature's Storm
Rough Lore: Man has always sought to overcome nature, but nature sees to punish the men foolish enough to try. Whether it be with harsh storms, seemingly endless droughts, or savage animals. Though nature is sometimes a rather fickle thing as it seems to be affected by certain types of magic. This magic has brought forth champions such as Nidalee and Makoi to the fields of justice. Though what happens when nature takes magic into its own hands? A creature like -Insert champion name here- is created.
Thrusted into this world by unknown causes -insert champion name here- found herself lost and without purpose. Though suddenly she felt as though the forest around her spoke to her, begging for protection from intuders who sought to cut down trees, hunt animals, and bring their kind into these woods. While she was thrusted into this world, she felt a connection to the forest around her, and a duty came with such a connection. When pioneers or woodcutters wandered into the forest hopefuly to build their lives they soon found themselves unable to move due to a small cut on their arm that leaked green liquid, or they were held upside down by roots of trees. Witness could only say they heard giggling, or a swift shadow moving through the brush or trees.
The summoners at the Insituite of course took interest in such an event, and sent a group to discover the source. As they went deeper and deeper into the forest they found a spring with -Insert champ name here-, who at first did not take their intrustion kindly. Though the summoners soon calmed her, and offered her a postion at the Insisuite, which she only agreed on one condition. All the forests in Valoran were under her protection, and not one was to be destoryed. Now -insert champ name here- fights for the forests and nature on Valoran.
"Every flower has it's color, scent, and most importantly it's thorn."
Taunt/Joke/Speech:
"If a tree falls in the forest with no one around does it make a sound?"
"No last words? Vine with me."
"Time to remove a thorn in my side."
"Treehugger? I just...appericate nature!"
"As fast as grass grows."
"Nothing, but vile fungus"
"Ha nothing, but weeds in my eyes."
Other:
Maybe instead of a bow something like throwing daggers? Well possibly thorns or leaves in this case?

In my eyes there is only justice
The following threads and polls will be a fun time to write some flavor for the champion. What type of weapons should she use? Obviously the art suggests a bow but is there anything else to that? Ashe is a frost archer for example. Caitlyn uses a rifle while Miss Fortune has pistols.
Brainstorm lore ideas and put in some pre-submissions. Think up flavor text like quotes, taunts, etc.
There will be several submission threads for that later.
This thread is also here for anyone who wishes to fine-tune the art and make it more detailed. If there are enough entries, there will be ANOTHER art poll later on to decide which "improved" version is the best.
