XKillerMachineXx, if I changed these items that would result into a completely different build and would make it more of an AD Shen than the AP Shen I favor. But thank you anyway for your thoughts.

For shen solotop: I think you might just wanna go 9/21/0 with shen. really really helps your lane phase and can contribute that extra bit of damage shen needs to be considered a lane threat. Plus, is probably one of the most useless masteries ever. I'm sorry, but getting 8 free bonus armor, if you have 150 armor already, doesn't make that much of a difference.

Plus, arcane knowledge will make your - one of shens major sources of damage, deal even more damage!

You might wanna have . I find many top laners to deal lots of attack damage, and armor is essential against any AD lane you are facing.

I might suggest also getting at level 2. The dash will allow you to get other items besides boots, and can REALLY help secure a kill, which is important, because by the time your jungler could gank top around 3:00-3:30, you might not have had enough time to level up all 3 spells.

In fact, i think shen can play very aggressively around level 2. I remember someone (maybe throatslasher) telling me that when he plays shen, he goes HAM on his opponent around level 2 to force them back to base and attempt to snowball from there.

you should update this guide so I can rate it. (I rate the guide not the build)

overall it looks pretty good but a few things irk me. you have promote listed as a summoner spell still. a lot of people forget about that and all you need to do is just delete it! your rune choices just state "this rune does this to this ability." yeah well duh, you need to explain why it is better than other runes. in jungle you should take attack speed runes over arp. you get a LOT more ki strikes.

and of course, finish the guide!
