Grabbing Doran's Blade first screws up your early phase big time. You lose out on the amount of times you can pull on your first few levels.

I play Blitz as a hybrid support. Same spells.
Manamune
Boots of Swiftness
Frozen heart
Abyssal Scepter
Rageblade or Lich Bane (Depending on money costs)
Frozen Mallet (For others to catch up and make the kill.

Abssyal scepter is great for Shock Wave because the lightning emitting from it will do more damage and the ability itself. I've managed to kill someone first thing with the passive from it in a teamfight.

Frozen Heart is CDR & Mana, but then it lowers the attack speed of enemy champions. Without it, Blitz can have a hard time surviving AD.

Rageblade is a good way to start off plling people in to your team from their turrets.
After grabbing them, you have Powr Fist which stacks up to 2, and thn 3 with the punch.

I usually go hybrid like this because I lane with AP MF most of the time. And if nobody can pick up the kill on a far away target, then you can grab them and have enough AP to make the kill.

Frozen Mallet and Trinity Force procc do not stack (125%?). Might be a great item, not for me, i also am not a fan of clarity (and also you didn't improve it in your masteries. Always think of helping your team. Mana does)

You do hit the CDR cap late in the game. But being over a small much isn't all that relevant.

Chances are the game won't last long enough for this to come into play anyway, and its not worth gimping your early game fur a very small benefit in 10% of the games your play.

I must say I still didn't try out this build (i usually run him with AP)... and before I do, i'd like to clear out a few questions:
Quoted:
glyphs- flat cdr

You say Flat CDR but on the guide up top you have Mana runes. Which is it then?

Quoted:
Once charged manamune provides Blitz's shield with 675(+5% from mastery) additional hitpoints.

The mastery provides 49 mana since it's only calculated on your base mana (no items involved).

And my last questions is regarding the Ionian Boots of Lucidity. You have "too much" CDR. 6% from utility, 3% from offensive masteries. That goes up to 9% "base".
If you add the Ionian Boots of Lucidity, you end up with 24%. Then you add up the Frozen Heart and end up 4% over the 40% cap. Couldn't some mastery points be placed elsewhere?

all overdrive ? its better if you have rocket punch(2),Overdrive(1),powerfist(2) at level 5 especially when u drag the enemy in then tower, or buy a boots lvl 1.

look positive when you are in push you destroy de tower quickly with this attack speed and movility to escape in case of gank.

I'm going to try this, switching up the item order a little- glacial shroud after boots, then trinity, banshees only early if needed, if banshees not needed going for wits end maybe as last item.

I have a suggestion for your masteries which I'm trying. Your items give you 35% CDR and you get 3% CDR from Offense, so for Utilities you only need 1 point in Intelligence, 2%, putting you at 40%. That leaves 2 points to spend on Greed, Meditation, or Insight. With the expensiveness of the build I'm going with Greed and Meditation (not guaranteed to have mana using partner for Insight, can always change quick before match starts).

-edit- Could always put both in Utility Mastery instead, especially if you don't have a jungle. I'm sticking with Greed/Meditation though.
