you can have 100 base AD (even though no one does)
and then 400 total AD from items
the 150% would add 150 AD to your next attack
since it takes off of base
so you would hit for 550
NOT 1000 T_T (400 + 150% of 400 = 600 :P)
for specifics
lowest is fiddle @ 93 at lvl 18
140 dmg triforce bonus
and most base is cho at 130
195 bonus

It was nerfed to 80 and 120 or 130 on Sheen and TF respectively. Then they buffed them back to 100 and 150 again, but removed the reservoir system. (before it was 3sec CD on ONE skill meaning you could get another one instantly after the first attack, now it's a 2sec global CD)

If I remember right AD goes up like very slowly each time you level right? So getting tri-force or sheen on an Ad carry isn't the brightest idea?

It's ok, it really depends on the carry, trinity force is a great item even on some carries.
Currently looking for a team, I'm an amazing skill-shotter and prefer tanky roles (Garen, Renek, Amumu) or straight up AP DPS (Nidalee, Veigar, etc) :3 Although I'm a great Sona too.
