And I just took a look at Tiamat's stats. The item is too cheap and gives too few stats. What I mean is the splash effect is more of a late-game thing, while the item's other bonuses are fairly weak. 5 mana regen/5, ugh, what do you want to do with that? It means one more spell per minute. Same idea for health regen. Tiamat basicaly is a bad Philosopher's Stone with damage. It feels to me we'll never find a reliable way of using it until they change it
It would also apply the full 50% to her basic attacks allowing her to farm without wasting her mana. Seems like it would work decently well as an early game item for her tbh, but I'm not sure.
Thinking I should go test it a bit...

I just tried it, it gives you scary farming/pushing power, but you're very weak mid game. That being said, it's almost always the case with Kayle.

I played it in duo lane though and every decent guide I see says she's a solo lane beast... will try this out, but I feel Tiamat's stats arent enough.

I bought it for the 1st time in a PvP match, I rushed it on GP. I bought the Longsword 1st.
Let's just say once it's built, your farm is out of control. I would have got my money's worth in gold and the harass it dishes out from Parrrley splash. I was laning with a Maokai v a Rammus and Annie and I was 8-0-2 at the 20m mark when they surrendered. Anyone who has laned GP v a decent ranged know it isn't easy to get the melee swing last-hits in between your Parrrley ones. Tiamat pretty much negates this altogether.
In the few teamfights that occurred it was very nice to be dealing DMG to multiple targets. By this time I had a Cloak of Agility and a BF Sword so it was substantial. I was porting back to pick up my I.E when they pulled the pin.
I will continue to build it in the short term, will be interesting to see if it is something I will keep getting, and if I decide to buy another 1 or 2 after I pick up an I.E. Each Tiamat deals damage separately, so when attacking a target and you have 3 or more Tiamats, the splash dmg will be above and beyond the original dmg of the hit.
EG. I use Gangplank and shoot a champ for 500 with Parrrley and I have 3 Tiamats, my target will take 500 dmg. However, the adjacent target will take 750dmg. If I had 4, they would take 1000 dmg.
I was mucking around v bots and I bought 4 Tiamats, Infinities Edge and a Triforce. I could more or less 1 shot a Champ if I used Parrrley on a minion or Champ standing close by.
TBH. For 2050 gold, it is pretty damn good if you ask me.
