I got to thinking and... How about some sort of necro post warning? Now that we have the search function old topics are bound to be resurfaced but there's no guarantee that the reason for reviving a thread will be legitimate. Just a quick little suggestion. Maybe 1 month should be the threshold should this be implemented.

MOBAFire Site Search
Yes, that's right, we have site search! Better late than never? You will now see a search box at the top of the forum home and forum topic pages. Give it a try!
You can also search other things on the site, including builds, users, videos and database entries. However the main use for the search page is to search the forums, you're generally better off using the custom browse pages for everything else.
Embed Build Tags
This one is a little tricky to explain but very powerful. You can now embed build information in any comment on the site, and in your build description. You can do this by using the separate builder tools to get a link to a custom setup, or you can use it in your description to automatically pull build information down into the description without typing it out again. Here are some examples of how to use it in your comments, by pasting the URL in from the builder tools (abilities you'll have to type out manually);
Runes
Item Sequence
To use it in your guide description, simply leave out the URL and it will pull information from the first build.
Please note that when inputting a skilling order for champions with more than one word in their name, you must put quotation marks around the champion name.
If using Lee Sin, for example, you must input champion="Lee Sin" instead of champion=Lee Sin, or else it will not work correctly.
If you have multiple builds and want to refer to a specific one, just pass in the number as an index. For example, to pull down the data from your third build, use;
We are open to suggestions on how to improve this feature, but we hope it will help out in your theorycrafting on the forums and in making your guide descriptions that much better!
Updated Wiki and Icon Bbcode
We've fixed up the wiki link (double square brackets) and icon bbcodes to handle masteries! Finally you can pull mastery links and icons into your discussions. We've also updated all the wiki and icon bbcode to properly link to the database page of what you are linking.
Database Updates
Thanks to a great effort started by Mowen and carried on by your friendly neighborhood Veterans, there have been a massive amount of sweeping updates to the database! They are still hard at work but they have already covered much ground. In the process the Vets helped us to identify a number of outdated icons and names for things, which we have also now fixed!
That is all the important stuff! We hope you guys enjoy the new features and improvements :) Let us know what you think, or if you have any troubles using these new features!
