I played a match against a Kayle. I think her early-game is still good compared to what it was (to tell the truth, it almost didnt change), yet her late-game is ridiculous (it was terrible before, changed a lot).
She starts the match aggressively and 15 minutes later, she becomes only a support cause her damage isn't so good as her teammates and Kayle cant just dive to kill (squishyness ftw, ot not).
What do you think of her now?
I lol'd.
As far as I can tell the change was basically a giant nerf to everything about Kayle.
Kayle's early game went from okay to great. She can do a ton of damage early on with E. Better mid now.
Late game is worse, but still good. I don't know how you guys are playing Kayle, but my friend is playing her every game and dominating mid lane.

As a former Kayle main, I can attest that her early game didn't get THAT much better. Yeah she does a little more damage with E, but her lane sustainability and harass with Q are both worse.
Her end game is "Twitch tier" now. That is to say, horrible.

I'm beginning to wonder how people are building her now.
I built her "on-hit" with Malady and the Black Cleaver. Yes her damage isn't great but, she brings a ton of utility to the team with the resist shredding. TBH though, I really liked the old passive and the perpetual speed boost she had.
