When to buy Aegis of the legion?

Not because of the stats, but because no one on the planet who actually knows anything about the GA passive is stupid enough to focus a guy with the passive up, and you kind of want people to focus you as a tank.[/quote]

I'd say it's better if you're using a carry or possibly a tanky dps, because it disuades people from focusing you, and you really can kill them all if they ignore you. It's kind of like Banshee's Veil versus Force of Nature - Banshees is better for carries because the shield disuades enemies from focusing you and it also gives much needed health, whereas FoN is better for tanks with its higher resistances, health regen and movespeed. I don't really ever buy it at all though.[/quote]

If your goal as Jarvan is to make as much damage as you can, you're doing it wrong. You want to FORCE people to focus you with damage.[/quote]
