The footage is supposedly all from one game Phreak plays with other Rioters that is decided beforehand that he'll use it for the spotlight video.
Another Rioter stated that the opposing team typically tries very hard to crush Phreak and deny him good footage of the champion's skills and force them to have to play another game. It's like a "badge of honor/pride" for them.
He uses whatever's there to showcase the champion. If there were no mistakes, he doesn't show any. If there is a great move done by another player, it will be excluded because it's not about spotlighted champ.

ya I noticed that too, although he still got fed.
If you watch older Champion Spotlights, you'll find he shows off mistakes too.
Phreak's just improved as a player. And Riot's more recent champions have been getting more and more powerful/balanced.

@Topic: I like the brutalizer on Trynd. He seems more cool that before and I like how Phreak is not winning everything.
