That's very true, however, no offence but it's kind of expected to see that kind of thing in middle eastern countries. This seems more shocking since it's happening in the UK (granted I haven't actually been paying attention to what's going on in Syria).

I've just heard there are already fires in Manchester tonight, and police are already deploying armoured vehicles.

Apparently it's a huge fire.

You make it sound as if using tear gas to break up the riot is a bad thing. They should start using whatever means are necessary to stop this from spreading... and also to make sure people think twice of doing it again (and to prevent others from doing something like it)

I didn't say it was a bad thing. In fact, it's probably the only way to stop this continuing. It's been happening for like three nights now.

Apparantly they're looting a shopping centre now.
