I personally use Lucidity. the only other "good" CDR item that Vlad uses is WotA and he can't use about half of the stats. It also lets you use Haunting Guise which, IMO is a great item on Vlad.

You're talking about
Will of the Ancients? The Spell vamp/AP (not CDR) item which he uses all of the stats, and is core on him? Spirit Visage is core on vlad and gives CDR.Either way, CDR boots are going to pay off more in the long run, whereas it's pretty easy to just get a void staf to get spellpen whenever you need it.

Pre q nerf, I was more opt to get sorc or even merc, but now I go lucid 100 percent of the time to mitigate that one second. Iv'e gotten the ap tenacity item like once when they had too much hard cc, but i feel that if tenacity isn't a problem, get lucid.
Weird. I thought WotA had MP5.... I thought wrong.

Thats true. You could just get Sorc boots and pwn things, now hes Q has 4 secs CD.
Spirit Visage gives some CDR too, but its pretty uncommon (at least I've never seen anyone using).
