lol look at This dodge calculations! fail! It will never be 41%!! Max Jax dodge can reach is 37%
18 passive + 12 boots + 6.75 seals + 4.5 quints + 2 masteries = 43.25
call me crazy but not only is that above your "max dodge" but its also above 41. soooooo yeah. Unless I've gone mad in the last few minutes and dodge doesn't stack, you fail.
Remember this guide is geared more towards new players and includes some of my suggestions for the more advanced players. As the guide states this gives you the foundation that you need to play Jax, once you become experienced with him its all about using this as a guideline and customizing depending on the match-up and game progression.
Wow, someone remove this derp from this site. (evy)
i was thinking the same thing this guy has no idea what he is talking about lol
Anyway, Drazev, I like seeing somebody else but me starting with a Gunblade, kudos. :D
However, there are two things about your item build I wouldn't get. Phantom Dancer and Rylai's. Although Phantom Dancer is a good item, it's not neccesary in this part of the game. Most people will only have one movement speed item (boots), and you have your Q AND Gunblade's active to catch those who are faster. The attack speed might be nice, but you shouldn't need it at all, because your ulti stacked at 10 leaves you at about 2 attacks/second. I understand your reasoning of having a larger AS to start with, but I rarely find my AS lacking if I don't. If I'd get a phantom dancer at all, I'd get it late game, when people start to walk a bit faster, or when your enemies forgot to build armor.
So I would at least prefer to switch the PD with the Rageblade (a.k.a. change the order).
The Rylai's seems a bit redundant, because Jax gets enough HP from his passive, the 80 AP you gain with it is too small for its price and the slow seems unneccesary because you already get a large movement speed advantage with Gunblade's active, Nimbleness and Phantom Dancer, not to mention Leap Strike. In short - I think you should either get PD OR Rylai's, depending on whether the enemy team is building armor (get Rylai's) or magic res (get PD).
If you'd like some more insight into other mobility and survivability options, check out my own Jax guide. I feel it gets too few views anyway so I might as well promote it. xD
