1. Kennen is a HE, not a SHE
2. YOU SHOULD be going bot lane with a support. It's not mandatory, but typically AP champs go mid, and AP champs typically have a better level 1-6, therefore you'll get zoned out of your lane quite easily unless you know what you're doing/enemy is bad.
3. Vayne is essentially an assassin. She excels at 1v1 combat. Positioning with her in teamfights is your #1 priority. If you're out of position you're going to die....

Not the main reason AP is put in solo. AP depends on both farm and levels for their damage (levels for flat damage on spells) while AD champions rely mostly on farm.

This is why Searz and I are saying support+bot lane Jeffy. If vayne doesn't stomp mid there isn't much reason to have her there, and the OP is obviously not stomping mid.
