Why not just flip vertical (after copying the text layer)? I think it looks pretty cool. And shame about the darker backdrop... It would have looked really nice :) I edited it quickly in photoshop, and found a black and white gradient, set at 90ish degrees, with the reflected text layer set at Linear Dodge looked really nice.
