didn't vote up down yet, just a comment for now;
your build looks good, I like the advice about jungling in particular, but your argument for trinity at the end shows a basic misunderstanding. the trinity proc gives you 150% of your BASE AD on your next attack. Riven's passive does *not* multiply with trinity in *any* way, as it is all BONUS AD. Though trinity does offer a fair amount of burst, just because of her spamability and tendency to intermittently autoattack between spells, when you consider her obscene AD scaling both with spells and her passive, BT or IE (BT in particular) give much higher overall damage at a lower cost. Try it out, you'll see what I mean right away.

Fix your explanation on trinity, and maybe add some alternatives, and you definitely have my vote among current riven guides on here.

As you mentioned , Sheen is ok on her as long as you dont waste a single stack of her passive. If you do, BF sword comes ahead and at least you can build sth useful out of it.

Rest of the guide is good.

By the way, I just came from a game ending 11 0 11.
I don't usually get 0 deaths when I play with any character, and that's the third time I've achieved that using this guide.

The routes I use are: smite wraiths, wolves, smite golems -> (smite wraiths, wolves, small golems)* until ~1100gp, b2b maldreds & boots & 4 potions, small golems, red lizard, look for gank (should be level 4-5, though if enemy low can gank earlier).

Then start incorporating in red and - if noone needs it - blue.

At first I was getting smashed by playing riven like this. I was really frustrated and annoyed. This improved dramatically after learning the character's limits more, figuring out when to go back to buy and how low I can be before initiating.

The guide sets out a good build that requires a bit of experience and a lot of good timing to pull off.
It provides a good enough item set to survive and pull off ganks from level 3-4, given bold play with low HP escapes, using skills to escape as shown in the champion spotlight.

The guide ends with a very viable, high hitpoint, high damage output character that can 2v1 most enemy champions and provide initiation with stuns and chasing in late game.

Really irritating to learn. Very satisfying to master.

One thing that I highly dis-like is Trinity Force. Bad bad item. Even developers say so. So yea that that out and would be a plus.

I like to get infinity edge a lot earlier on myself, her damage sort of falls to the wayside as the game progresses if you don't buy more.

Just to that this seems like a ok idea but I would first of all prefer laning before jungling try to farm better there , get some kills and ganks off maybe , i rush wriggles then jungle . But i think we would all appreciate you posting a route or link to a route to tell us and help us , becuse to me she doesnt seem like a ... good level 1 jungler . She seems to lack the dammage out put or health regen .

And have you considered a alternative build like starting with valor instead of broken wings ? If not try it out , it may work , exept for that ,

This is a great post and defenetly looks like a possible option for riven . Maybe riot will chance her to maybe have a easier jungle .

and to reply to Huibrizzle , Riven is a very good ganker with broken wings and her ki strike . Especialy with red buff and Boots of Swiftness .

The guide is quiet nice I'd normaly jungle her with an offense specc but she lack a bit of surv then. I'll try this Def-Jungle Build but just as Merlux said with arp armor and cdr runes. I think this is what I've been missing so far with her in jungle, let's see :)

Will +1 when i can - for those guys who asked for route riven can start anywhere.

Personally I would push on Ar.pen quints and CDR/lvl blues... yellow armors and just get help with blue till its smitable and have teammates run to give you that headstart you need so you arent forced to grab 5 potions and for that extra jungle speed boost if your competing against another jungler... +1 when its +1 able, I think what it boils down to for this champ is smother Q animation and quicker R animations, maybe higher base atk speed if they want her to be competent jungler.

Just played a game with Riven sporting my own build, I started off Dorans in lane, got a kill waited for madreds then jungled and gank till about 12 minutes, picked up 2 more kills and a wriggles, picked up 2 MORE kills and a brutilizer, farmed pushed till I got a youmuus then I died 2 times playing with sloppy animations...(fix it riot?) and then we continured to play teamfights ineffectively till I realized it was the GP f-ing us with his ult, then didnt die anymore and pushed till nexus. Win, Idea behind riven is to get CDR, Movespeed, and well... Damage items, in retrospect I think i shoulda grabbed a bloodthirster and farmed it up after the youmuus. Reminds me of a tankier pantheon.
